It's true that Spooky in love has a smaller amount of promotion materials compared to other tvn dramas, but this is not the fault of the actors. You should look up the actual facts before saying such harsh words.
Also, Yang Se Jong has admitted himself several times that he is extremely introvert, therefore participating in interviews and talk shows is very exhausting for him. He often feels uncomfortable and awkward in these situations, that's what you probably noticed when you were watching the Doona promotions. This doesn't mean that he's lazy or unprofessional. On the contrary, as I'm quite an introvert myself, I admire that he follows his dream at being an actor despite his inner struggles. The world would be much poorer if only the ones with a bubbly personality had the right to work as an actor.
Wow. Bitch and moan. Bitch some more and whine even more. I don't like noble idiocy but it will be over by the…
Thank you, I hope you're right! I was quite disappointed with ep. 9 and 10 , but your words give me hope about the last two episodes ๐ฅน the written preview of ep. 10 is also promising
They're so cute I can't ๐ฅบ So it was Yeo-ri who first suggested to Gang-uk that he go with her to Singapore ๐ I love the little details too, like both of them wearing their rings and Gang-uk sleeping with the plushie he got from Yeo-Ri.
The BTS for episodes 13โ14 is freakin' cute ^^ The kisses feel so natural, and you can really tell how comfortable the actors are with each other. As expected, there were a lot of ad-libs too. It was Nam Jun's idea to throw away the script, and Ji Yeon came up with Se Gye pretending to be hurt to steal kisses. https://youtu.be/X19lH_o8Pow?is=gj205BNQ1xXkHA5p
The title of the drama, ๋ฉ์ง ์ ์ธ๊ณ (Brave New World).
Ahh, those are handwritten notes written by the cast members. Here is the one from Lim Ji-yeon (sorry if the translation isn't perfect, I don't speak Korean): "Seo-ri, you gifted me with warm comfort and bold courage, saying that I needed warmth instead of empty tokens, and that just one step of courage ultimately allows me to live. Meeting you has been one of the greatest blessings in my life. Thank you for being part of this Brave New World."
Okay anyone who understands Korean. What does Seori call Segye? Is the literal translation really "Degenerate"?
I don't speak Korean but according to ChatGPT: "Youโre probably referring to ํ๋ฝํธ (parakho / parako). Itโs an old Korean term meaning: a degenerate/ wastrel/ someone who ruins the family fortune through gambling, drinking, laziness, etc. Traditionally, it described a man from a respectable family who became irresponsible or self-destructive."
I recommend watching this extended behind-the-scenes video if you're not ready to say goodbye to our beloved characters yet. The last few minutes are especially heartwarming: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1DeGmGQ2oM/

A few spoilers about the last episode (source: MBC entertainment): - Ha Ran is looking for answers about Chan, but since he completely disappeared and the tablet is broken, she decides to talk to Su Jin, who confesses everything (the reason for Chan's disappearance, her relationship with Hyuk Chan and even the circumstances of his death). -Ha Young&Tae Seok: while driving for a business trip, Ha Young encounters a heavy snowfall in the road. Upon learning this, Tae Seok rushes to find her, worried about her safety. At least our 2nd couple will have a decent scene when they finally get together I guess *-*
I just read that the last episode will be extended by 10 minutes (source: MBC entertainment). Good news, we really need the extra time!! (actually I think we would need a 3 hour long last episode XD)
I'm actually annoyed that they're only leaving two episodes to sort out all the lies because I'm really doubting…
Exactly. I'm really disappointed with how the second half of the series unfolded. It feels like they kept dragging the secret just to create a big dramatic payoff for the final episodes. Even if they somehow manage to save the last two episodes from being a total chaos, it already feels too late. The story spent too much time building a relationship that is based on lies. Now that the truth is finally out, it feels like the real journey โ healing and rebuilding โ should begin. Instead, we're at the endgame... That makes me really sad, because this drama meant a lot to me. It was the highlight of my weeks and helped me see the spring during a winter in my life.

End of ep 4:
Se-Gye: "If we are checking, we check thoroughly"
Seo-Ri: "How?"
Se-Gye: "Like this" and hugs her for the first time.
Ep 11:
Seo-Ri: "If you are broken, you need to be fixed"
Se-Gye: "How?"
Seo-Ri: "Like this" and kisses him gently.
The exact same dialogue, but they've come so far since that first confession. I'm so touched ๐ฅน
