so it’s not seeing the future. it is just a way to show how lustful he is becoming for this person and their scent. have you ever listened to songs that sing about loving someone they never met? longing for a person they do not know? this is similar in that the mind is imagining a hot and heavy scene with a person they do not know but want.

Now to us, the audience, we will see the full scene in future eps, but again this does not mean Nakhun is seeing that future. Just becoming lustful and full of desire for the person who owns that scent.

that is just used to show that the scent on the cup was making him go into rut. they did not actually meet or do anything yet at that point.

so as a person who grow up with Christian horror movies, I will say this is already very well done. In the Christian faith everything bad is the work of the devil and of course horror movies use the misfortune of the mc to tie back to it all being apart of the devil’s plan to bring the mc closer to him, to see this done so well in another country’s drama where Christianity is not the central faith is so nice to see! I love seeing this diversity and can wait to see how far they take this and what their version of a Christian devil will be like.

I am ready to see that devil Jane break our poor Lamp Chop Little Jane and then, I hope, that little lamp in return break the devil too!

so yes....HOWEVER, there is a tragedy in one of the eps that does happen to one of the main leads, but that's for the eps that are their owe story, not the main story line.

so i went on a little rant thing about this being a bromance but then was corrected by MG and CallOutMyName. Basically the cast and crew are leaving this up to our interpitation. we can see it as bl, bromance, or however we want it to be.

Oh cool. I didn't know that and I like that, leaving it up to us to take it as whatever we want it to be. I am not usually a fan of this because I like being told what a show is so that I know how to feel and think, but this makes it better because it's more nutural where as if it were to be call a bromance it would feel dishonst and gay baitie which I don't think should be a thing in 2026.

I just want to say, I have only just started reading the story, but d*mn is it good! Very well written. I think I will try to finish it all tonight!

I think the only way for things to be balanced is if they did multiple seasons, but we can only rarely get 2 seasons out of a show. Sigh...if only these shows were more like western shows that have have multipal seasons and take a few years to complete. It'd been more torturous waiting for the next season, but I think we would get a lot more out of it and a more balanced story when done right.

I want to start by saying that I am loving this show so far, but I have to get this off my chest.

I have always understood bromances as two guys being as close as siblings. They will say "I love you, man," be there for each other, share their secrets, and be more vulnerable with each other. But it has never really gone any further than that.

What these two here have already feels like something that will go beyond that. Now I am not saying that I am not cool with guys having close friends. I am totally for it. Guys need good friends that are like family to them, just like girls do, but this is not that.

I mean, not only did the show hint at a more romantic tone not just with Sky and Nani's chemistry, but they give us these little digs to a stronger connection they will have, like when that woman asked him if he had ever met anyone who made him feel like he was destined to love them (or however she said it). This only makes the audience crave for them to fall in love with each other even more.

Also, let's not forget what happened in the latest ep. I mean, Niran binds his soul to Pete, and now, as a "side effect," Pete is seeing Niran's face everywhere.

Hmmm, where have we seen that issue before?

How about almost every love story that has been written, gay or not? It's one of the biggest tropes to have a character who has not come to terms with their feelings for someone else or who misses their lover, start to see their lover in every second that goes by in a day.

If they really wanted to keep this platonic, then they shouldn't be hinting at something romantic like this, and no, I don't care that romance is in the word bromance. It's not supposed to be romantic at all.

I think the word started to be romanticized when China started turning BL stores and shows into these censored versions of themselves. They keep the romantic feeling without letting it be explicitly romance and it's gotten a pass because this was the only way for a while for these stories to be brought to the TV screen.

(I am sooooooooo glad that China is now producing some bangers. I just PRAY it lasts and I can get more traditional Chinese ones...and maybe untamed done again as a bl as it should have been.
The last one is a pipe dream, like getting the live action or the anime of Heavenly Official's Blessing completed and posted, I know, but I can dream, ok?)

However, coming from a country that doesn't do any censoring of LGBTQ+ shows, I don't really see the reason for shows like this.

Now, I can totally understand if Sky and Nani don't want to do BLs. That is their right as human beings to not want to, but then the show shouldn't gay bait us.

Just give us a nice, action-packed bromance TV show without the romantic feels. I will definitely still watch it all the same.


Also, can we start making more BLs like this, though? I love how this show is slow and subtle with the build of whatever Niran and Pete got going on. I want a bl where falling in love takes time...and is also action-packed with both main characters kicking BUTT!

I NEED a special or something with a Khun Thee and Peach cameo!
