And one more thing Bad Buddy ended in January 2022. It’s been over four years, yet some of y’all refuse to leave that restaurant. Every time a new enemies-to-lovers show comes out, you’re screaming “Bad Buddy copy!” as if Bad Buddy invented rival families. Newsflash: it didn’t.

People really need to stop acting like every rivals-to-lovers series is automatically a Bad Buddy copy.

Bad Buddy: Pran’s mom hated Pat’s dad.
Match Point: Both dads hate each other.

Bad Buddy: They lived next door.
Match Point: Their families own restaurants across the street from each other.

Bad Buddy: Pran fell for Pat first.
Match Point: Be fell for Sun first.

Bad Buddy: They both played football, but they weren’t competing directly against each other.
Match Point: Be and Sun are direct rivals competing in tennis.

Bad Buddy: There was never a deal that they had to date.
Match Point: The whole premise includes a challenge win the match and you get to date.

So how exactly is this copying Bad Buddy? Having rival families and enemies-to-lovers isn’t something Bad Buddy invented. Those are long-standing romance tropes. If every story with rival families is a copy, then we’d have to call Bad Buddy a copy too.

One episode in and you’ve already written a dissertation on why you’re miserable. Maybe the series isn’t the problem.

So thinking more about it it’s probably one of these reasons
* she expected to become Nakhun’s partner,
* her family made promises about their future,
* she’s hiding another motive,
* or she simply refuses to accept that Nakhun has chosen someone else.

It seems unusual for a beta to be this possessive of a true alpha without some prior connection or expectation?
Gosh waiting a week is torture 😭

For next week episode why is she acting threatened by phatsa? What’s the goal in challenging him to the shooting range

Unless maybe she was promised to be Nakhuns mate?
