2gether had so many views thanks to the pandemic that boosted their views many times more (otherwise, it might not have been that popular), and without the pandemic and other circumstances, it could have ended up around Fish Upon the Sky level of viewership (a.k.a. below Bad Buddy) by the end of its air time.
Bad Buddy will eventually be clear #2 of Thai BL series in about two years or so, surpassing all the other series, including SOTUS. I believe that will happen in time.
How about Immortality? Ready to be the all-time worldwide BL series record breaker by views? ):) With all the anticipation and everything, I won't be surprised if it breaks 50 billion views eventually (a first for any BL series in China) :D
For those who are new here and looking at the ranking (or rating) before you think of watching this series, please ignore it! At the moment, I think there's still a glitch here. I'm sure it will eventually be fixed.

And one mentioned how the choice of WeTV instead of LineTV might have adversely affected Bad Buddy. This was in fact not true.
Now we also know that LineTV Thailand ceased their operation on 31 Dec 2021. I'm sure GMM would have known beforehand, and I don't think anyone wanted to have their favourite Bad Buddy to be suspended in showing halfway just because the TV streaming company ceased operation, no?
(Means, if they chose LineTV, they wouldn't have chosen WeTV at the same time too, coz both are rivals, and if LineTV folded in end 2021, that would have left Thai and some other viewers with no online platform to watch Bad Buddy from while it was still at EP 9, save YouTube, and back then, the YouTube episodes were still blocked in Thailand for a month after release.)

And I agree very much with one of the commenter there. It made perfect sense given the timing and all. It would totally be awkward for you to watch Bad Buddy on TV with your family (unless everyone's into BL and ok with a lot of romance scenes between men).
That's why in Thailand, the TV rating for Bad Buddy is rather low, because the viewers prefer to watch separately on their own through WeTV. Plus, as we now know, the one in TV is actually the cut version (shorter and missing some important parts) while the WeTV version is the full version (like in YouTube too)
Was having a lot of fun reading the reddit thread from 3 months ago regarding how Bad Buddy's TV ratings was supposedly the lowest among all the post 2gether BL shows by GMMTV.
And so happy to see how the pessimism, doubts and lack of interest among the commenters there have been proven wrong more than once as Bad Buddy showed us in the past three months. OhmNanon dissenters included (some of the commenters there mentioned their likely lack of romance and all heading into the series)

I agree with you on this totally. Unfortunately, its an invisible yet real hurdle for all BL series here in MDL, and Bad Buddy seems to be suffering the most from it...
Thai BL YouTube made a video on the top GMMTV series by views (obviously they use the data from the Twitter we saw earlier). Good effort on compiling the scenes and all, plus the commentaries.
Just how fast things have evolved for Bad Buddy is that, the data they used is already outdated when this video was published yesterday, Bad Buddy will likely pass 130 million by end of Thursday tomorrow.
