I rated it based on how much it worked for me.. Not on a pros cons ratio.. Even flawed shows can still be enjoyable.. The rating reflects my personal taste.. And also ratings are subjective anyway.. Different tastes, different ratings..

I agree with you on the self hatred aspect.. I think it was more that the writer felt that moment had to happen…
As for the BTS, it would be nice if it ever happens.. I followed up on it, hoping for some explanation from the director or even the actors but couldn’t really find anything.. Honestly I don’t think we will ever get an explanation for it..

Felt like they broke a perfect one season drama into two parts.. So I planned to change the rating once the second part aired, if it turned out well.. Unfortunately season 2 didn’t meet my expectations.. It felt draggy, unnecessarily long with filler episodes..

The 'why tf would he do that??' moment fit his character perfectly, as awful as it was. So much of his motivation…
I agree with you on the self hatred aspect.. I think it was more that the writer felt that moment had to happen to close the door on redemption, this is who he had become.. They should have respected his character and his sacrifices more instead of trying to ruin a character everyone wanted to sympathize with..
