See.. Some dramas balance the MLs abilities with court politics and real consequences.. Others go all in on making the lead nearly invincible almost fantasy like legendary figure.. Because majority of the people like that stuffs..

That's historical CDramas for you.. If you want realism and logic this is not the genre for you..

It's sort of the norm for them to make their characters overpowered.. And it's not just the male leads.. There are plenty of female leads who are so overpowered that it doesn't make much sense either.. But thats just how it is..

Yeah.. I get where you are coming from.. This isn't a male centric drama.. So I can understand your point of view.. But quite a lot of dramas are like that..

LFY will receive a lot of negative reviews for sure.. Both the leads are a bit of complicated characters.. And people are not often kind to such characters and their actions.. Hopefully I get to watch it soon..

Well.. Maybe I should have worded it better so my perspective came across more clearly.. My intention was never to criticize the drama or accuse it of anything..

If my words counts as a plagiarism accusation, then by that logic your own comment was accusing Stranger Things of plagiarizing D&D and Silent Hill and Lovecraft to Machen and Blackwood works..

Saying a work took inspiration from something isn't even close to being the same as accusing it of plagiarism.. Inspiration is literally how creative work is made.. Infact you made the same point yourself when you said the Upside Down in Stranger Things was inspired by D&D, Silent Hill and Lovecraft and that Lovecraft was inspired by Machen and Blackwood works.. And you used the same word I used to link Lovecraft to Machen, and Blackwood..

Top of my watchlist actually.. Unfortunately all the episodes are still not available in my region yet.. Should finish airing in couple of days.. So I Will be watching it over the weekend I guess..

I will be watching it once its completed.. But I have a feeling that most reviews, including mine will end up being more of a rant because of the disappointment..
