Could've been better, but it also could've been worse.

Saw this on netflix and decided to give it a chance, wasn't life changing. I love a good revenge K drama but something about this one did not hit the spot. The male lead was not my favorite in the beginning, I felt that his acting was a bit flat, but his character really grew on me. I felt deeply for him in the last few episodes especially since he wasn't directly involved in the initial incident, he just ignorantly benefited from it. By the end of the show I hoped that Ra el clued him in so they work together to get that revenge. She had already fallen deeply in love with him and so was he. So ra is one of my favorite characters in the show. She was unintentionally funny and her acting was spot on. Loved every time she was on the screen. MVP of the show, all the way to the end. Ra el's character was definitely a hit or miss for me. Some parts were perfect and others were a miss entirely. The lawyer was the same. I was sort of disturbed by his sudden deep love for Ra el, the same little girl he helped escape a traumatic situation, after seeing her once or twice. The framing of it was a bit icky for me. However, I love how well he respected (In his own way) her love for Yoon gyeom until the very end. I hated the fact that he followed her to her safe space (Buenos Aires) at the end of the show. The sex scenes were not pleasant to watch and the show could've done without them, or worked closely with the actors to make it less unpleasant. The show could've been better, but it also could've been worse.
