That's the thing, because they're unknown, nobody cares what is shown. But in this case, high traffic star leads…
Yes I agree with you. So, the idea behind it is that once an actor is famous it can’t depict natural behaviour in a relationship? Not good. If people want to see real kisses with beautiful people have a look at uncanny destiny.
The plots of both this and a girl like me are so very close, it’s surprising it’s not an adaptation of the…
I saw this comparison mentioned below but I don’t see where it is similar to A girl like me at all, besides the fact that the FL is rich and independent. This one has a plot I haven’t seen anywhere until now (just me, peace). Totally unexpected turns and having the man fight over her for this very specific and unexpected reason. Very very funny indeed.
I don’t understand why they cut the kissing out, there is another drama airing on same channel(iQIYI ) with less known actors and those kiss everywhere they can. I mean real kiss, no fish thingy. So, why the double standard? By the way I can’t open Bilibili links where I am at. Does anyone know where else are bts available. Thanks and goodnight.
The only problem I have with Chen Yu Qi is her eyes. She opens them so wide but other than that, her acting is…
Funny, the conversation about her eyes. To be honest I think she just has big eyeballs. Some people do; and this combined with smaller eye lids, can make one look like, well like someone who is amazed / surprised all the time. For me her eyes are not a problem. I’m glad she is doing a. Great job in this role. But that probably has to do with the pairing: I believe I mentioned a few weeks back here or on another site that I believe that actors are able to support and elevate each others performance. It has probably To do with chemistry, the so called personal click. Was just thinking who were previous partners of Yukee. Well, big names, but she looked there like she needed to work sooo hard to make it work. However here it works so naturally, with Dylan. For me she is as just this natural with her pairing in Ashes of Love. Anyway, just my five cents worth.
Finally saw the episodes of today 21,22. What a brilliant story. I don’t care about the ratings at all. There is so much subtlety in almost every dialogue. The metaphor, the innuendos. Clever, clever, clever.
The actors depict human behaviour at its best and at its worst. All legit from each individuals perspective. The despair of the powerless emperor, manifested through entitlement and arrogance and in his animal behaviour. The power to sacrifice herself for her beloved (our FL). The angst and insecurity due to perceived lack of status and power (our ML), that will manifest itself in frustration and stupid (but oh so human) behaviour (doubt and what comes with it).
At some point some of us made a slight parallel with LLTG. Now I know there is indeed a parallel, only this one here is much rawer, bam in our face. It’s like this one is stripped and presenting us the bare necessary but not compromising on coherence thereof. Romance with details? I don’t even care anymore, as long as they (the main couple) get a human and dignified conclusion.

I found there Yukee not clicking with the main male lead at all
Just my opinion (peace )

I bet this role will be a turn8n* point in Yukee,s career.
They are both so damn good.

Can’t wait for tomorrow.
I liked the ML a lot in Forget to remember love.
