So, this is a real tearjerker. But I don’t know why people didn’t like it . It’s quite realistic.

Yo me it is well worth watching. Might not be the cup of thee for everyone. The story and acting is strong, the way they filmed it and the soundtrack is artsy, you love it or you hate it. It takes a bit of time to let it grow on you, but then you are hooked. I like it a lot, definitely different than many other period pieces on now. Perhaps give it a try and see for yourself.

And yes, I find the rating too low for what it is, but I’m in the group that likes it :).

Fully agree! It felt like the director grabbed so much artistic freedom as he could, making the visuals fantastic. Really loved it.

The MLs best performance so far. I’ve never seen him so genuine in acting, the FL actress brings out the best of him. Kudos to both of them. A very good drama.

Ok, it’s over now. Finally, I did enjoy the artsy production, perhaps make it into a movie, not series. The topic is too heavy for eight minute bits and pieces. And still, with all its flaws, it will be one I remember for some time. Even if only for the actors ‘ premium efforts. Good job on a difficult assignment. Douze points.

Had to warm up to this installment, it’s getting better by the episode. The brothel “dogfight” was brilliant.
I miss the epic opening song of the first season. That, they could have kept the same.
But finally, something good to watch!

I positively love the cinematography in this one. Those black and white tones, with the occasional burgundy to spice up a mood. Wow. And the chemistry is sizzling.

Pity about the violence against women, I can take quite some things, but in this it’s so ugly, especially between the two main leads. Since they’re supposed to love each other? What kind of crazy SM cross referenced with a dosis of Stockholm syndrome. Gotta have a hard stomach to take it all.

Anyone knows what’s the ML/ secret? That he was hinting at? Pls spoil :).

Is it just me, or is there really no chemistry between the main leads at all? I don’t feel them.
