To come out stronger - but it still hurts in the meantime. Stupid Marquis.
It's infuriating that even in death, he managed to win by hurting the couple further, as if their past trauma wasn't enough. I hate that MXY let himself be used like that by that damn Marquis, but I entirely get why he reacted the way he did.
Episode 31 has such a strong connection to our lives. At times no matter how emotionally strong we may be, we…
💯! Couldn't agree more. As much as I don't like what MXY did, his reactions and feelings were valid. Some people are saying it was completely out of character, but it isn't. It's so realistic because these things happen in real life, especially when you're overwhelmed by a flood of emotions. He's not just insecure, though that's a big part of it. You can't fault him for how he initially reacted... that's just human nature. We can clearly see that he's also hurting big time, hence the gray hair from all the stress he's going through.
Ye Li has a lot going on inside her too. She doesn't really explain much, and though she usually won't back down, this time she just agrees with him, mainly because of the guilt she's feeling. I feel for them both. After watching episode 31, I just want them back together. They are so much better when they are with each other.
I was okay with the addition of the new deputy chief. Since she was introduced as smart, I expected a lot from her character, so it was disappointing to see her make a mistake that hurt a team member as early as episode 2. It still bothers me as I continue watching; there seems to be no afterthought or consequence to that action by episode 4, which is really putting me off.
