I usually don't mind what the genre of the drama is, as long as it's good. Of course I do have some preferences, and I'd say a few of my favourite genres are: romance, thriller, psychological and youth/school. I am very picky though, which is why I haven't watched a huge amount of psychological dramas even though the genre is a favourite of mine.

    I drop dramas really easily to be honest. I'm a bit strange, I drop dramas for stupid reasons sometimes, but oh well. I get bored very quickly too. I have to binge something or else I'll become unmotivated to finish the show, even if I'm actually enjoying it. I know, quite weird.  I usually struggle to finish a show if it's anywhere over 50 episodes; c-dramas are my worst enemy haha.

    I'm also pretty harsh with ratings. I rate most things an 8 or 7.5, even if I liked the show. I like to think that my ratings for things are relatively good, but definitely don't go off my ones for yourself. To each their own, obviously.
