As someone who has read both the novel and the manhwa and has been a big fan of both the artist (Fujoking) and the author (Samk), I had doubts and was quite reluctant when the series was first announced last year. I feared the drama wouldn't do justice to the novel. But the trailer did impress me quite a lot, and now the first episode raised my hopes quite a bit. I am hopeful and have quite high expectations from the drama now.
The actor playing Sun is so beautiful, I love him so much already. I need to see more of the actor playing Jay to see how the character follows the original, because playing original 'Jay' would be a bit of a challenge, I feel. Still looking forward to the next episode. First episode done, and I am genuinely liking it.

oh my our tastes align so well!!! can you please recommend me some dramas with have friendship/ found family kinda stuff. The last one I watched was Mysterious Lotus Casebook and absolutely loved it. Need more but always end up dropping such dramas in the middle if it start leaning more towards romance.
I want to try this drama because of Xiao Zhan, I wanted to watch him in a good suspense + power struggle drama for so long, but according to my past experiences, romance in such genres usually leaves an unnecessarily bad aftertaste for me 😭
