The special scene in the last episode featuring Tin and Pete was an effort to tie the storyline with another series, Love By Chance. Techno had a thing with Kengkla, his brother's (Technic) friend who appeared during the earlier episodes of the first season. I think we'll get to know more of Champ's story in the second season.

I like how the director and writer made Gaya sa Pelikula (Like in the Movies). It's light, funny and relatable with tender bits of drama and suspense(?) lovingly sprinkled here and now. It effectively conveys the struggles of both protagonists in wanting to live their own lives the way they want it to be.

I love the plot of Friend Zone 2. It digs deep into the nature of the conflicts and friendship of the group. The story telling isn't linear. It goes back and forth to the present and past which makes it all the more interesting.
