I feel ambivalent with Kao's Nubsib here. At just the first meeting with Gene who is the writer of the series he is working on he already acts so cutesy with him instead of being respectful (since they are still not close and familiar with each other). Is he up to something?
Still the first episode but a lot of questions come to mind.
I guess the viewer's "degree of appreciation" for this series depends on how much they actually relate to Tharn and Type. After the issues during courtship during their youth, they now face a different set of challenges in their relationship. To someone who haven't experienced this, it might be difficult to appreciate the ordeals faced by the main couple and may easily dismiss the whole series as not as appealing as the first one.
Started out a bit slow in pacing during the first few episodes but all is good till the end. The chemistry is undoubtedly still there although I must say that the plot is somewhat shaky. If there could be patron saints for gay relationship, Tharn and Type would be it.
One of better series this first quarter of 2021. Good chemistry between the two leads. Plot was pretty straightforward. Ending includes a hint that the supposed temporary separation had gone bad. Which makes us want to watch the second season all the more!!
He is remarkable in Hikaru no Go. At first, I thought he looks too Korean for a Chinese drama.. then all of a sudden he made my jaw drop when he spoke Korean in the series. Like WTF?!!!
