AI simply mixed several tracks from stock music libraries... but following artistic guidelines. Behind it all, however, there was still a director and a real voice: Chen Liang's (Lin Zai). And honestly, the result is pretty good (from my point of view 😏)

While the plot and BossTong want me to like the series, the director badly wants to make me drop it. The narrative structure has been a butchery for 2 episodes (the executive producer me is drenched in sweat 😅)

The voice is Chen Liang’s, one of the series’ MLs, but the opening theme (“Don’t Wait Until Daybreak”) was produced by mixing pieces of several different tracks. That’s where AI came in 😏

At the very end of the credits, there’s a list (in English) of all the tracks, like Heartbeats by Allen & Bright. You can find quite a few of them on Spotify or Apple Music.😊

I don’t know if the production team has already released a compilation (or MVs) of the tracks from the first 4 ep. Try checking their YT channel!

Same for me on TikTok: the moment I even hint at a Chinese BL, censored or not, the algorithm (chinese too) either buries the video or straight-up blocks it. Even if I don’t mention where it’s from. So I came up with a trick to fool the algorithm: when I hashtag #taiwancoproduction, that one breathes, and my followers know it’s actually a Chinese production 😏 Chinese censorship is spiraling. Sad, very sad.
