That thing is sick. I have seen exactly these same comments even on some of the shows YouTube snippets or videos Under different names. So the Individual opens new accounts and posts the same thing all over. Beware not to click anything. It’s obviously a bait that will lead to unforeseen disaster. A very sick thing.
First off, this article picks and chooses snippets to produce a rage baiting article. People should be more aware…
Exactly my point. For me, one should Watch the whole interview, pause and ask one’s self those same questions and answer them honestly without emotional bias, then analyse his response objectively.
Before you let out your frustrations with the world on an individual’s personal opinion based on an incomplete article where he did not say it’s an expert opinion , you need to go and watch the full interview. Picking 3 questions and lines out of context is really an expression of bias. Which at the end of the day harms both the individual and readers who comment innocently without knowing the out of context nature of the published article. Let’s be humans and have integrity and Credibility and not be worse than the emotionless AIs we are speaking of.
For the answer written above :- “I've also made an AI animated series after [just a] day of hard work.” What I believe I saw was - “I have also made an AI animation in just one day.“ . I think in this context it’s talking about speed of job done - in just one day.
Then he was asked if he wanted AI to take his job and he said - clear “No” and that’s when he said the line starting with - Think about it , Ai has already developed this far …. Understanding this gives you context and makes it easy to try to understand what he meant in relation to asked question. Merging parts of 2 different responses under one question is not nice.
Some people might be touchy with this statement - “you can’t keep clinging to the old ways” . But come to think of it , For all the righteous people here - why do you use a smart mobile phone and not the old dial up table top phones? Apart from putting phone operators out of job, why do you video call your friends and family and not make the trip to go talk with them face to face every other day?, you can help bus/cab drivers generate more income or create for transportation service jobs. Why do you depend on weather forecast to use an umbrella or dress up before leaving? Why not consult a fortune teller or risk it? Why do you do e payment? Why not go to bank to withdraw cash everyday to pay for anything. Do you know how many people you put out of job by embracing e payment solutions and using the ATM for transactions? Let’s not even talk about work. But that was because the benefits outweighed the cons for you. And that’s practically ok nothing wrong with it at all.
I am not for some aspects of Ai because it’s creating a dumb and lazy generation. But there are also very good innovations and technologies that save life, makes life easier, reduces error rate and increases speed of output. If we are talking about drawing the lines, ethics, protecting people rights, and co that’s a different conversation and that’s not what the interview was about.
The question about - “do you think AI can replace humans? ”. - : “ I definitely think so” That’s a generalized question with a generalized answer. And for anyone upset hasn’t AI been replacing jobs all over the world before this interview? Like seriously.
Question about - “Do you think there is anything about you that Ai cannot replace - He said “No”. This is his No not your no. Like why are people angry with “his” no. How ever you want to see it is your cup of coffee but it is about him not you. I want to believe he had seen the Ai generated dramas, Ai generated music, CGI/Ai hybrid , Ai generated everything even arts and come to the reality that what they do can be mimicked. But he didn’t say it would convey the same performance as them. Note there are technical and performance skills. And he had said he thinks he would be conscious of what he chooses to do to ensure he can’t be replaced by Ai. My POV : I want to believe he should be talking about their artistic skills and performance skills that conveys the right expressions and captures the viewer in the storytelling. For any actor or musician who doesn’t possess the performance skills needed to portray Art, is where the issue is. If they only possess technical skills then they stand the risk of being affected in the mess. Ai can read scripts, memorize, move …. But that’s about it. That’s why we all love actors and musicians that can tell stories with their performances, have emotional intelligence, improvisation skills, presence either on screen or onstage, expressions and co. So those things can never be replaced by AI.
So ask yourself, Can technical skills be replaced - yes. Would the performance be the same - no. These are two different things.
Saying “Humans shouldn’t be overly confident to think they are irreplaceable.“ Every human being has this innate desire to constantly improve. Everyone of us especially those in the white or blue collar sector strive to improve our skills constantly because in our hearts we don’t want to be replaced by anyone , we don’t want to be insignificant, we don’t want to become redundant. This is kind of a “healthy” insecurity that pushes us to be better than our past selves, in almost every aspect of life.
And then he joked about - Maybe their interview conversation was written by Ai.
For me, knowing the big corps and governments are embracing Ai, and knowing it’s still within the developmental stages and the issues of ethics and protections. What one can do is fight for the protections of human rights, creative skills, preservation of nature within the space. Then let contents be explicitly labelled so when one sees a labelled Ai generated movie, one can show his/her disapproval by not giving it 1 extra view point through patronage.
The context matters. People need to understand the deeper multi-layer issue. Things are not always black and white.…
I get you. Funny enough I and others too would look down on the Asian continent. Not because of their skin color and how they look. But because we look down on people because of underdevelopment, poverty, illiteracy, lack of freedom , inferiority complex and low self esteem , malnutrition masked as beauty standard in some cases which we find ridiculous, etc. The last thing you want is to be Asian, insecure, poor and trapped. I have never met someone say “ Oh am so inspired by the Asians. But at the same time we see them all over African countries mining their resources and enriching their countries with it ….we admire their industrious spirit as we also see their products all over the world. See? A lot just don’t make sense… Just my 2p. Peace~
Did anyone notice in Episode 21 towards the end when Madam Yang was talking about her identity and plans in the bath scene. She looked so much like the sixth sister, Miss Rong Yun wan… 😊… She can easily pass for her mother…
Ep 23 - I am sooooo furious. I feel like smacking Nr Nie front and back. Like how can someone be so dumb and still breathe. Being played up and down like a fool. Smh….:
@Mica. Lol. I kinda agree with you because the characteristics I have seen mostly so far from people that identify as being Woke is over sensitivity to everything that is pretty normal , safe and enjoyable. Killing vibes…
His dad took such a dark turn though. He went from "save my son" to "we must lure and kill FSG"…
But this tells you how dark the human mind can be regardless of how sweet the smile is or how much tears flows from the eyes. SMH. His loyalty was not deep at all , probably out of convenience … I would rather say he is just pursuing his earnest desires with the excuse of “am doing it for my son”. Mssssscheeeeeeew…/
Whyyyyyyy?????? Why they have to bring this unnecessary amnesia plot at this point??? Whyyyyyy 😱😱😱😭😭😭
But this amnesia is somehow clinically justified. With lack of oxygen it’s a miracle he is not brain dead and I know sometimes medically there can arise a choice between salvaging one of two functions. Even without lack of oxygen the human brain and memory can go through hell with just traumas and PTDS then add withdrawal of its life(oxygen) even for a moment. I don’t mind the direction once it’s not over stretched. It’s something that happens even with modern science.
I have been helding back to rant this out since ep 24.... The ML is good in every way but I just hate the fact…
You might also want to look at it from the perspective of the individuals environment. He saw his mother die because of the throne, his father literally lost his mind because of the throne, he saw his family happiest outside the palace even though they were warriors that defended the nation. I would want a peaceful life as well while defending the nation from Behind the scene. It’s exhausting watching all the palace schemes how much more living in it. Pheeeew I will pass too….

No one is excluded. It was just about the degree of nobility in the schemes.
