A very unnecessary season
I loved this season but definitely is the weakest out of the three. There were a lot of things I liked about the season but definitely things I didn't as well.I liked how amped up the games were compared to the other seasons, that being said I thought the finale game was a little boring to watch, otherwise I liked the new ones. I think these games were more challenging to figure out which was really cool to see. Arisu is always just such a fun character to watch. He's so intelligent and caring! The sets, cinematography, acting, and special affects I think really carried this season.
I think the thing this season is lacking is the emotional connection to the characters. Other than Arisu and Usagi I found it really hard to get attached to this season's characters. I think they waited too long for us to find out information/backstory on them for the audience to get attached to them or care if they make it or not. It's not that they were necessarily unlikeable, we just didn't know enough about them. I really like Rei and Nabu and some of the others, but we just didn't get to see them enough. Some of the character deaths felt like they should've been more impactful, but I just didn't care that much if they died like in previous seasons.
I wish we got to see Arisu & Usagi as husband and wife more. We didn't really get to see them together until episode four which is another complaint of mine. I did like that we got to see what both of them were doing during the time they were separated, but I wish we saw them together more. I also just thought it was weird they were still calling each other Arisu and Usagi for being together for the past five years and literally being married. You think they would use first names or nicknames at this point. You would also think they would live together. Usagi's relationship with Arisu just felt so off this season, like she didn't fully trust him. Why was she telling stuff to others that she couldn't tell her literal husband?! The whole reason she went into the game was just so dumb. Idk her character felt off to me this season.
As for the finale...the death of Jack/Joker/whatever you want to call him was so unsatisfying. They were building him up all throughout the season just to have a random character take him out. Speaking of that character, I just think he was such a pointless character. He came to ask Arisu if he wanted life or death when Arisu was obviously going to choose to live and save Usagi. His whole speech and role in the show seemed like time filler more than importance. I would've much preferred that time go to showing more of Arisu and Usagi after they got out rather than just the quick scene we got. I loved the cameos of all the characters from the first two seasons being in the finale! It was nice seeing them again because I definitely missed them this season. I think if they were all in it more, it would've made it more enjoyable.
Overall, I did like the season, but I do think this one has the least rewatch ability. I could see myself watching it once or twice more but not as many times as I've watched season one or two. Total props to all the actors though. They all killed it!! Especially Kento & Tao!

Fun and then a little dark
I enjoyed this story for the most part. I liked the relationship the main two were building throughout it. Towards the end it started to lean more towards a darker romance, which I don't mind, but just felt like it came out of nowhere. Apparently, it gets darker in the web series but for the show the dark romance aspect seems to come out of nowhere. Good series overall though. Was this review helpful to you?
The mc will drive you nuts
The story was cute! Som-O really annoyed me for most of the series to be honest, but I did like the relationship between her and Chadjen. Loved the friendship between the main crew. Cute series overall but you will probably be annoyed multiple times. I know some people had a problem with Dew's acting but I didn't mind it at all.Was this review helpful to you?
Very Realistic story telling
I really liked this a lot! I think my favorite thing about this was the directing. The weird camera angles made you feel uncomfortable the whole time and almost made you feel like what they were doing was wrong, even though it wasn't. The actors did a great job as well! Loved seeing Kyung in this type of role! Was this review helpful to you?

Hot women and a mystery plot line? Sign me up
I really like this show a lot! I loved the mystery of why Baikhaw was doing what she was doing as well as seeing all the different relationships between the main characters. The relationship between Baikhaw and Tulip was so interesting to watch! I loved seeing them become close friends and then it all falls apart. I'm not going to lie when I started the show, I thought their relationship was going to turn into a lesbian relation and not sisters which threw me off, but I didn't mind it. This may be controversial (I'm not sure) but I think for the most part Baikhaw was actually doing a lot of really good things for Tulip. Tulip's parents were super toxic (later finding out they were just awful people), Wawwa was super toxic, and Tao was such a good friend to her. I was glad to see her parents and Wawwa leave her life.
Baikhaw is such a good character! I love that she's not just evil because she's evil. I love that she had complexity to her! I think the things she was able to get away with her reasonable as well. She was really smart but still definitely made dumb decisions, like being caught on cameras, or going after obvious people. I love that she tried to get tulips parents as well as Wawwa out of tulips life. I hate that used Tao, but I also have to respect it. If you got a yearner you might as well use him! LOVE that she killed Wawwa and Q!! Also shout out to Pat! Absolutely love watching her act!
Tulip's character was very back and forth for me on whether I liked her or not. There were moments I really liked her but also times I didn't. There were a lot of moments to be honest that Tulip just felt bitchy if I'm being honest. I do wish she forgave Tao in the end, but I also understand a bit why she didn't. I just wish she could've realized more that he was used by Baikhaw too. I feel bad for everything she went to because she definitely didn't deserve any of it. I have to say this show made me fall so hard for Emi! Love her!
Tao...I love him. He is best boy. Did he make mistakes? Yes, but I think a lot of them come down to the fact that he was being used and manipulated by Baikhaw. We saw pretty quickly that he didn't like what he was doing to Tulip at all. I do believe he genuinely did fall for Tulip in the end as well. Loved what he did to Wawwa! She deserved it. I hope he can find peace and can one day reconnect with Tulip, even just as friends. Also, his parents were shit.
Namo was such an underused character in my opinion that he almost felt like a throwaway character. They brought up that he had a thing for Tao and never did anything with that, which was disappointing to be honest. I don't understand how such a nice guy could be friends with Wawwa or even Tulip to be honest. I just feel like they could've done so much more with his character and they didn't. I'm glad he came in to save the day and shot Baikhaw with no hesitation, but I would've had the same (or even better) reaction if Tao did it. Glad he was okay in the end though!
Wawwa...literally fuck this bitch. I cheered when she died. She was such a toxic friend and such a bad person. She left Tulip alone, while she was drunk might I add, with this dude that Tulip made very clear she didn't like and then said dude almost assaulted her and would've if it wasn't for Baikhaw! WTF?! AND SHE NEVER APOLAGISED FOR IT! She was also an alcoholic. I was just so glad when died. She deserved it. I'm glad Baikhaw was the one to do it. I literally have nothing good to say about her at all.
I hope Tulip's parents rot to be honest. Maybe Baikhaw is alive, maybe not. The story definitely ended to where she possibly could be so I would be down for a season two. Overall, I really loved this show and highly recommend!

BEST KDRAMA OF 2025
Before I get into anything with the actual show, I have to talk about the acting! The acting in this show was absolutely PHENOMINAL! All the actors did an absolutely incredible job. I have to give MAJOR props to our girl Kim You Jung. Her acting in this series was on another level. She deserves so many awards for this series. I cannot compliment her acting in this enough. Truly amazing! The way she could show so much emotion in just her eyes...just wow. Absolutely love her and this series made me love her even more.
Onto the main 3 characters!
I loved Baek A Jin so much. I've been waiting to see a female character like this for so long! I wanted her to get everything she wanted. Is she a bad person? Yes, but I loved seeing the way she thinks and seeing her go after terrible people. Obviously, she goes after some people who are good people as well, which does suck, but I think that's what makes her character that much better. You can't constantly root for her or agree with her, but there are also times you can. Such a powerful character and loved to finally see this type of character be a woman! Her way of thinking and manipulating was so good. She really was meant to be an actress the way she could fool everyone. I hope she gets to be truly happy in the future, and I hope she takes down her husband!
Kim Jae O is such a lovable character. The care he has for A Jin and his brother is so good. I loved that we got to see him continuously check in on his brother even though his brother didn't want to see him. I think him keeping out of sight of his brother, after he found out he didn't want to see him, shows just how good of a person Jae O was. His love and dedication for A Jin was next level! WE LOVE A YEARNER! He truly was the best person she ever had in her life. He cared and loved her so deeply. I wish there was a way they could've been happy together. His ending got me teary eyed because I really didn't want to see him go but once again it showed just how dedicated he was to her.
Yun Jun Seo is such an interesting character. He was such a good person, and we really saw that all throughout the show. He was dedicated to A Jin but in a very different way than Jae O was, and not only because Jae O was willing to go to crazy lengths for her and Jun Seo wasn't, but his dedication was different entirely. Jae O loved A Jin just the way she was and loved her for her 100%. Jun Seo loved the A Jin he had an idea of in his head. An A Jin he thought could change for the better when we all knew she wouldn't. He was dedicated to help her become a better person, even though that is never what she wanted. He was always going to be her downfall, and I wasn't shocked that he tried to kill them both in the end.
Onto the story!
I loved the story so much! A woman manipulating men to get what she wants? YES PLEASE! We need more stories like this! I loved seeing A Jin boss Jae O and Jun Seo into doing whatever she asked. Parts of this story reminded me of the Glory in a way where she was getting revenge on people who hurt her in the past. I just love a good revenge story!
I loved that every few episodes was a new chapter in her life, from high school to adulthood. That's something that made the series feel so fresh and kept you really interested. Nothing was drawn out for a long time, new characters were showing up often, all while having our main three at the center of everything.
The relationships between the main trio were so good to watch! Jun Seo and A Jin's with their long history and complicated feelings with each other. Jae O and A Jin's with their one-sided love and pure understanding of each other. Jun Seo and Jae O's rivalry turned complicated friendship. I just loved seeing all of these develop throughout the show!
The story with Heo In Gang pulled at my heart, like I think it did with all of us. His death was truly heartbreaking. In Yeop's characters can never have a happy ending I swear lol. I truly do think A Jin loved him though because of the scene with his grandma where she said it was the one time she spoke the honest truth, and it was her saying she loved him. She also looked pretty emotional when she went to the bathtub after he passed.
I need to know more about Moon Do Hyeok ASAP! Why is he doing what he's doing? What is his end goal? I have got to know. He was such an intriguing character! He was just as good as a manipulator as A Jin and I just wanted to see more of him. Absolutely hated what he was doing to her, but I kept wanting to see more from him.
Now the only thing I didn't quite love was the very last few minutes of the show. It just felt incomplete. Maybe Baek A Jin's story isn't over yet and that's why it ended the way it did, which is why I didn't deduct any points from it. Whether that means we get another season or not, I believe her story isn't over. She's not dead and our girl is stubborn. I think she's going to find a way to get back to get her revenge on her husband and the rest of the people who wronged her. I definitely think the finale could've been a bit longer to wrap some things up more or take some more time with certain things. That's my one and only complaint about the show and I don't even know if it's entirely a complaint.
Other random thoughts!
I love Kim You Jung and love her more after this show! Always happy to see Kim Ji Hoon and Hwang In Youp as well!
Not going to lie I kept rooting for the death of Hwang Ji Seon and was so upset she made it out alive lol.
Sim Seung Hui should've just went about her life and not gotten back involved with A Jin. I didn't feel bad for her a single time.
Seo Mi Ri honestly got what she deserved for what she's done to her stars over the years. Also blaming A Jin for In Gang's death...it wasn't her fault and I stand by this. She never wanted that to happen, he was the happiest while with her, and Mi Ri ignored his mental health for years and did nothing.
I want A Jin's wardrobe so bad! All her fits were stunning!
Loved the camera work, editing, and music in this so much!!
I loved this series so much and am going to miss it a lot! Absolute 10/10 and cannot recommend enough!!

I think the other reviews are a little harsh
I really liked this! Is it the greatest story ever? No. I think the actors, the coloring, and cinematography are what bring this show up a bit. The story is very much like a teenage show that tries to be adult. I think it does work in moments in this show though! Everyone in this show is shallow or just a bad friend/person, but I think that's what makes it entertaining. Was this review helpful to you?
I cried many tears
I thoroughly enjoyed this series so much! Absolutely loved it! Very emotional as it made me cry multiple times. It has laughter, crying, and sweet moments. I think the cast was amazing! A lot of big names! I think people are way too harsh in the reviews. This show was huge when it was airing for a reason! Was this review helpful to you?

Food, friends, and fun
This show was so funny! I'm not usually one to watch comedy's but I loved this! I watched it for Park Jihoon originally, but I really enjoyed it. The comedy was so good, and I loved all the nonsense they were doing in this! They had Park Jihoon as a grandma, in a seaweed dress, in different wigs, and not to mention what everyone else was doing like the musical number! I love it! I can't believe they even performed the song on mcountdown, so funny!! I've never seen something like that done before! The food all looked so delicious too! Sometimes I'd be eating while watching the show and it still made me hungry. The cast was incredible too! So many familiar faces in this which is always nice to see. The story was pretty good too. I loved that we got to see so many characters and relationships grow. I think this was great and I can understand why it got so popular. I loved getting to sit down for some lighthearted and fun comedy twice a week! Was this review helpful to you?

It's about more than just anime style fighting
I love that this is in the same universe as Study Group! This show was incredible! I loved how crazy the fighting was and how sentimental some of the episodes were. I loved how much it touched on as well, from the students to parents to teachers. I think my favorite episodes were one, two, and five. I love the characters the most from two! I love how they were the only ones who didn't end up in jail or anything either! I liked when we got to see them later on and they talked about how the school was doing after the fact as well! I really enjoyed this show a lot and hope it gets picked up for another season!!Characters:
Na Hwa Jin: Absolutely loved him! He was such a good main character! An absolute baddie!! Everything that happened with his fiancée was so tragic. I just loved him. I loved his relationship with the other main three characters too, especially with his father-in-law.
Choi Gan Seok: I love that he wanted to start this because of what happened to his daughter. He has gone through so much, not only with his daughter, but with so many people against this as well. I really liked him a lot. His relationship with Na Hwa Jin was so adorable.
Bong Geun Dae: He is so cute! I liked him a lot! He was so smart and I loved seeing what all he could he do with his computers. Him always trying to leave work was so funny too. His relationship was Han Rim was so sweet, and I hope it develops further if there's another season.
Im Han Rim: I loved her!! I love how crazy she was! She was insane and really embraced it and I loved that. She's really caring too. I loved her relationship with Na Hwa Jin a lot and seeing how close they were. I loved seeing her start to like Geun Dae too!

A splendid show
Let me start this off by saying I never would've watched this show if it wasn't for Winwin, but I'm so glad I did. This show was incredible! Easily one of my favorite historicals I've watched! I loved everything about it! The characters, the acting, the costumes, the sets, and the story. It was 40 almost hour-long episodes, and I still wanted more after it was done!Starting with the story, it kept me hooked the entire show. Whether it was focused on the love story or the other plotlines, I loved it! I loved getting to see how the characters changed over the few years of the series. My two complaints are I wish it was a little clearer how much time was passing between each event and the finale had a little bit more after the fire, but it's okay. I loved that it ended with a war as well. So much of the show, especially with Fu Hai Lian, was leading up to that so I thought it was fitting that it ended that way.
Characters!
Our main 3:
Gu Jin Zhao: An absolute baddie!! I was in love with her the whole show. She's so smart, so brave, kind, beautiful, and really pushed the boundaries of what women were able to do back then. I loved getting to see her develop friendships and go through different things over the series. I understand why she had four or five men want her throughout the show. I loved her relationship with Chen Yan Yun so much. I loved getting to see them fall in love. I loved her relationship with Ye Xian too. They really relied on each other a lot and even when they had rough times together, they always came back to each other in the end. I adored her relationship with Qing Pu!! I loved how they interacted more as sisters or friends rather than master and servant. So sweet! Her giving Qing Pu freedom and property at the end too, omg love it! I could talk about Hin Zhao forever I loved her so much. Her actress Ren Min really had great chemistry with everyone as well!
Chen Yan Yun: He did frustrate me at some moments, but I loved him overall. I loved that he never strayed away from his morals and what he thought was right. I loved how smart and brave and dedicated he was. Seeing him fall in love with Jin Zhao was so sweet. I loved how down bad he was for her I'm not going to lie. I loved his relationship with Chen Yi as well. When he died you could see how bonded they were. I liked that his relationship with Ye Xian was always changing. They didn't like each other at times but also cared and respected each other at others and I loved seeing how it was always changing.
Ye Xian: After Jin Zhao, he was my favorite character (and I'm not just saying that because he's played by Winwin). Seeing his growth as a person over the show was so cool to see. He started as this bratty guy who used his name to get whatever he wants and ended the show a true hero and I loved getting to see that. Though I was heartbroken and cried over his death, I am happy he died with so many people who truly cared and loved him in his life. His deep love for Jin Zhao was so beautiful. It started out as just a little crush, but you could see how strong it became overtime, and it was so beautiful. I loved his relationship with Yan Yun like I mentioned before. His relationship with Xian Hui (I believe that's his servants name) was great as well and when he died, you could see how much of a bond they had.
Others:
Chen Yi: I loved him. He was such a good guy, and I cried when he died. He was a little silly sometimes too which was adorable.
Qing Pu: A baddie!! I loved her so much! Her and Jin Zhao were the perfect match together and I loved seeing how they were with each other.
Chen Xuan Qing: Oh how the might have fallen. He was one of my favorites in the show and then he became such a problem. I do think he got what he deserved in the end; I just hate that he got to that point. He could have been one of the great, but he got too obsessed with the wrong things.
Fu Hai Lian: Hated him and I'm glad the king constantly saw through his nonsense. I was very happy he died in the end. He was not a good man at all, but he did love his wife so I will give him that.
Gu Lan: There were definitely moments I didn't like her, especially in the beginning, but she grew to be a strong woman like her sister in the end. By the end, even though she wasn't in the show as much anymore, I really liked her character
The king: Loved him! He was so adorable! He actually was quite wise for his age as well. I loved seeing him on screen. His relationship with Ye Xian was so sweet too.
There are so many characters in this show, but I figured I'd just talk about a few that I really liked!
Overall, this show was just incredible to me. I loved every moment and I was interested in the story from start to finish. The romance was great and I loved that we saw it build overtime and none of it came out of nowhere. I loved all the relationships between people, romantic wise or not. There was enough conflict to keep the story going but not so much it felt like they were trying to just fill airtime. I wish there was more I loved it so much. The cast all did a great job too and again just have to give a shoutout to the costumes, hair, makeup, and sets!! So stunning! A perfect 10/10 for me!!

The characters are all miserable and depressed
Let me start by saying I really enjoyed this show for the majority of the episodes. The story was simple, but enjoyable. The first half or so felt like watching a real story more than watching characters in a show, which I really liked. It gave me the same feel as When Life Gives You Tangerines in that way (a very high compliment). Then the show got to the finale and lost so many points for me. I hate when a finale erases everything that the show did and that's exactly what this finale was. There was no point to the rest of the show nor the progress the characters made because the finale throws that all away. The first few episodes of them in highschool and the year or so following were the best of the show. We saw them fall in love, and see how hard it is to keep a long distance relationship going while trying to get through your first year in adulthood. That was all beautifully done, even their breakup. The next episode jumping ahead 10 years and seeing what they've been up to, loved it. Then they run into each other again...it starts out okay and then really went downhill from there. They get back together for a month and breakup for the same reason they did before, Tae So is making all the effort to be together while Eun A is making none. They breakup again and I'm thrilled. Tae So has A Sol in her life and I think they'd be really good for each other, which they were. I was hoping it would develop into more, but not mad it didn't either. Where the show greatly disapointed me and made me angry to be honest, is the finale. Most of the finale is spent with Tae So and Eun A meeting up, saying goodbye, and repeat. They keep saying that it's going to be their last goodbye over and over, but it isn't. Finally Eun A decides to go to Hawaii and they say goodbye...again. We flashforward a year and she sends him a message, he smiles, and they start to narrate the same thing talking about destiny, and the credits roll.
...the credits roll.
Reasons I hate the finale with a passion:
1. It was wasted by a million goodbyes that meant nothing
2. When we think they're just going to get back together, she leaves AGAIN
3. It's been a year, maybe he can move on. NOPE. She's got him wrapped around her finger AGAIN.
4. The entire narration talking about destiny. They are not destined. They are just two people who can't move on because they don't let themselves nor eachother move on. They're just going to keep repeating the cycle over and over again.
Other issues I had with this show:
1.We got to hear what A Sol was thankful for with Tae So, but didn't get to hear what he said to her...why? Because we wasted all the screentime on pointless goodbyes.
2. Eun A was super selfish and thoughtless. She never cared about what Tae So wanted or what was best for their relationship. She only cared about herself
3. Eun A seemed like a completely different character in highshcool than the rest of the show. In highschool she was fun, caring, whymsical. After that she was boring, depressing, and selfish.
4. Eun A's beef with her stepmom seemed stupid. We didn't really get enough on why she blamed her for her dad's death, so it just seemed petty.
5. The "dating" between Eun A and Seong Chan was so pointless and practically nonexistant. Also why did he have a thing for her when she was 17? Weird.
6. A Sol's ending seemed like they didn't care about her ending so they just faded to black on her last scene and we never saw her again
7. Tae So was so boring for a main character. Super caring, yes. Not much else though
Things I liked:
1. Tae So and Eun A's chemistry as well as Tae So and A Sol's chemistry. The actors did a great job with that
2. Great cast. I liked a lot of the actors
3. Tae So's family. I loved seeing the relatiopnship between all of them. Loved his brother a lot too. I thought the brother and his coworker were going to get together but they didn't do anything with that.
4. A Sol. She was the best character and I really enjoyed her scenes.
5. I liked the cinematics of some of the shots
6. I liked how simple the story was. Everything nowadays is always so flashy and in your face, so this was a nice change of pace.
7. The realistic feel of this show, like I mentioned before.
Overall, I enjoyed quite a bit about this show, but there was also a lot I didn't. The finale is where my biggest issues lie and unfortuantely a lot of that outways the good.

The flashbacks were confusing
This was pretty good, but where I have to knock it down some points is the confusion. They jump between now, high school, and their time together before the accident. It's fine that they do that but it's hard to tell the difference sometimes of what is pre-accident and what isn't. The high school stuff is pretty easy because they have their uniforms on, but the adulthood stuff is so difficult to tell the timeline of at times. They didn't do anything to show or tell you when it was happening. They should've changed up hairstyles or even do something as easy as putting text on the screen to show the past and present.Other than that, I enjoyed the show. The main two had good chemistry and were likable characters outside of each other as well. Jeong Han was an interesting character too. Him being the bad guy didn't really shock me, but it was still a cool twist. The ending of this did feel a bit rushed though. I didn't really care for the finale.
I don't know if this happened with anyone else or just me, so I'm not going to deduct points for it, but this show took forever to air for me. It wasn't weekly and was kind of all over the place.

The worst thing I've seen since Flirt Milk
This was awful. I wouldn't recommend to anyone. This isn't even bad in the way that it's fun to watch, it's just bad.First off, the two main characters seem so one-dimensional. They don't really have any personality. I've never read fanfics before, but they give Wattpad couple in the worst way. Sasom was just so boring to me. His actor was okay I guess but there was nothing interesting about him. Po annoyed me so much, but I think it was the actor more than the character. I don't know if anyone else feels this way, maybe it was just me, but the actor for Po gave me the ick with his facial expressions all throughout the show. He almost seemed like they were forced and very stereotypical "gay" facial expressions which almost made it feel homophobic. Just very creepy. (I really hope someone knows what I mean when I say that). That made me really not like his character.
The plot for these two was not thought out at all. Everything with Po's dad was such a waste. He popped into the story way too late for anyone to care. If this was going to be a thing, why did it wait until episode like 9 or 10?! The show is wrapping up at that point. Even the whole thing with Po being the new "peach" seemed to be such an afterthought. The show seemed more just about two people who like to have s*x. Which speaking of the spicy scenes...sheesh. This show is already a big risk because of what the plot is supposed to be and therefore there will be a lot of spicy scenes, which is fine, but when the plot is practically nonexistent...you just have p*rn. Don't get me wrong, I love a spicy BL, but this was just not it. Between there being no plot, the characters being unlikable, and the relationship being noting more than s*x, it made the spice scenes super unenjoyable to me. All the conversations that were had in this were also just so boring that I watched them on 2x speed and it was still boring me.
For the second couple, if they can even be called that...girl where were they? They had absolutely no screentime. I couldn't even tell you their names if I tried. Also, the one who works at the coffee shop and Po are supposed to be best friends, but I think they had maybe two scenes together. The show ended and I don't think either one of them even knew the other had a boyfriend. The second couple was so nonexistent in the show that I don't know why they even had them in there. They felt so disconnected from the main story.
I heard they used AI for the art too which is another huge thumbs down for the series.
This was actually just such a waste of time. I can't say enough how bad this is. Bad acting, bad writing, bad everything.

A story of realism and art
Before anything else, I have to talk about the art in this show. It was STUNNING! Personally, the painting of Pheem and the angel painting of Koh were my favorites, but they were all so beautiful. Speaking of art, I just love how this show talks about art. From inspiration to just art inn general to REAL art vs AI, it was SO GOOD! I loved seeing it. The speech Jira made about real art vs AI art was everything to me. Absolutely loved it!Onto the characters!
Jira: I was so 50/50 on whether I liked him or not. My opinion on him changed depending on the scene to be honest. His speech about AI and when he broke up with Koh were my favorite moments from him. Him going back to Koh and what he did to Pheem made me lose some respect for him not going to lie. Idk he was just so back and forth for me. He's an incredible artist though!
Koh:I hated him. He was an asshole in the beginning and was all the way through the show. He's used people all his life and I think that will never change for him. That being said, I do think he genuinely loves and cares for Jira. I just wish we saw some character development from him, but on the other hand he showed that some people just never change. And why did this man never have pants on?! lollll
Pheem: I loved watching his arc and character development so much! He was a completely different person at the end of the show than he was in the beginning. He really learned a lot over the course of the show and I loved seeing it. I was so happy seeing him leave Koh's company. In the end he really deserved better than Jira too.
Mawin: He was a really good friend and a pretty chill dude. Loved that he wasn't afraid to call out Pheem on his bs either. I hope he got some of the acting gigs he wanted because that one audition we saw of his was phenomenal.
Ing: She was the true GOAT. She gave Jira such good advice and I pretty much always agreed with it. I loved that she also was never afraid to call Jira out on his bs either. He should've listened to her more.
For the couples!
Pheem & Jira: First off, their chemistry was INCREDIBLE! I think if it wasn't for Koh, they could've been pretty cute together, especially if Jira never met Koh. I was really rooting for them, but in the end, I was happy they didn't end up together. I think it wasn't fair how Jira treated Pheem at all.
Koh & Jira: They did have some cute, sweet, and sensual moments together for sure...that being said, I hated them together. Nothing against the actors because they obviously have great chemistry. I just think they don't have a lot in common. I think the art vs Ai will continue to be an issue as well, especially since Koh still didn't see an issue with it in the end. Koh will never see where Jira is coming from with that and I think that will be an issue that will be a problem in the future again. I really liked when Jira left Koh and was really hoping the show would end with them not together. I think with the vibe of the show, it definitely could've had an "unhappy" ending and it would've fit much better than them getting together happily in the end. Koh didn't learn anything from their separation and didn't apologize for anything, and I didn't like that despite all that, they still got back together. I think Jira could've still been inspired by him and still painted him without them reconnecting.
Overall!
I loved this show so much! The vibe of the series is so different than anything I've seen before. It wasn't super dramatic with crazy characters or crazy plot, or super spicy either, but still had me hooked from start to finish. The characters, whether I liked them or not, were all super interesting to watch as well. I was disappointed that Jira and Koh got together in the end, but despite that one thing, I thoroughly enjoyed the series so much overall.
The actors did an incredible job as well! I loved getting to see my man Dew in this! I think this was my favorite role of his yet!! I loved seeing Gun as well! Seeing these two together after Leap Day was really fun too!
I highly recommend! I will miss this show a lot!!
