Weird concept, weirder show
I kind of hated this drama to be honest. I know it was a weird concept to begin with, but it was somehow weirder than you'd think. I love both the main actors, but this show was not it. The best thing and only saving grace about the show were the kissing scenes, those were amazing, other than that the show was quite bad.Was this review helpful to you?
Disappointing ending
I really liked the story up until the ending. I feel like they had some potential to do some really cool stuff with the ending and they just didn't. The ending just disappointed me. The acting was great though and I loved the chemistry between the main two characters! Loved seeing Bible in another series! Was this review helpful to you?

The characters are all miserable and depressed
Let me start by saying I really enjoyed this show for the majority of the episodes. The story was simple, but enjoyable. The first half or so felt like watching a real story more than watching characters in a show, which I really liked. It gave me the same feel as When Life Gives You Tangerines in that way (a very high compliment). Then the show got to the finale and lost so many points for me. I hate when a finale erases everything that the show did and that's exactly what this finale was. There was no point to the rest of the show nor the progress the characters made because the finale throws that all away. The first few episodes of them in highschool and the year or so following were the best of the show. We saw them fall in love, and see how hard it is to keep a long distance relationship going while trying to get through your first year in adulthood. That was all beautifully done, even their breakup. The next episode jumping ahead 10 years and seeing what they've been up to, loved it. Then they run into each other again...it starts out okay and then really went downhill from there. They get back together for a month and breakup for the same reason they did before, Tae So is making all the effort to be together while Eun A is making none. They breakup again and I'm thrilled. Tae So has A Sol in her life and I think they'd be really good for each other, which they were. I was hoping it would develop into more, but not mad it didn't either. Where the show greatly disapointed me and made me angry to be honest, is the finale. Most of the finale is spent with Tae So and Eun A meeting up, saying goodbye, and repeat. They keep saying that it's going to be their last goodbye over and over, but it isn't. Finally Eun A decides to go to Hawaii and they say goodbye...again. We flashforward a year and she sends him a message, he smiles, and they start to narrate the same thing talking about destiny, and the credits roll.
...the credits roll.
Reasons I hate the finale with a passion:
1. It was wasted by a million goodbyes that meant nothing
2. When we think they're just going to get back together, she leaves AGAIN
3. It's been a year, maybe he can move on. NOPE. She's got him wrapped around her finger AGAIN.
4. The entire narration talking about destiny. They are not destined. They are just two people who can't move on because they don't let themselves nor eachother move on. They're just going to keep repeating the cycle over and over again.
Other issues I had with this show:
1.We got to hear what A Sol was thankful for with Tae So, but didn't get to hear what he said to her...why? Because we wasted all the screentime on pointless goodbyes.
2. Eun A was super selfish and thoughtless. She never cared about what Tae So wanted or what was best for their relationship. She only cared about herself
3. Eun A seemed like a completely different character in highshcool than the rest of the show. In highschool she was fun, caring, whymsical. After that she was boring, depressing, and selfish.
4. Eun A's beef with her stepmom seemed stupid. We didn't really get enough on why she blamed her for her dad's death, so it just seemed petty.
5. The "dating" between Eun A and Seong Chan was so pointless and practically nonexistant. Also why did he have a thing for her when she was 17? Weird.
6. A Sol's ending seemed like they didn't care about her ending so they just faded to black on her last scene and we never saw her again
7. Tae So was so boring for a main character. Super caring, yes. Not much else though
Things I liked:
1. Tae So and Eun A's chemistry as well as Tae So and A Sol's chemistry. The actors did a great job with that
2. Great cast. I liked a lot of the actors
3. Tae So's family. I loved seeing the relatiopnship between all of them. Loved his brother a lot too. I thought the brother and his coworker were going to get together but they didn't do anything with that.
4. A Sol. She was the best character and I really enjoyed her scenes.
5. I liked the cinematics of some of the shots
6. I liked how simple the story was. Everything nowadays is always so flashy and in your face, so this was a nice change of pace.
7. The realistic feel of this show, like I mentioned before.
Overall, I enjoyed quite a bit about this show, but there was also a lot I didn't. The finale is where my biggest issues lie and unfortuantely a lot of that outways the good.

Perfection
This story was incredible! I try to stay away from time travel stories because I usually don't care for them too much, but I loved what they did with this one so much! Everything is so thought out in this series and I love it! The characters all have great chemistry with each other as well, whether that platonic or romantic. Can't recommend it enough! I've watched it a few times now and still love it so much!It also has two actors I absolutely love in it, Hyun-Wook & Ryeoun!

Season two part two
I think we all feel this season should have just been season 2 part 2 rather than being called season 3.I was shocked at how quickly they got rid of so many main characters from season 2 and we were just left with a bunch of nobody's. I think that's where they lost points for a lot of people. None of the characters in the end were enjoyable at all and they were all people nobody cares about so we didn't care that they died.
I've never like 456 and that didn't change throughout the series. He just always irritated me.
Min-su was such an unlikeable character for me from the beginning as well as player 100. I applauded when they died. Min-su was just a useless, weak character, and 100 was just a dick.
I didn't like 333 either from the beginning, but I know a lot of people who did, didn't after the finale. I personally wasn't surprised he was a bad person at all. I liked his ending a lot too.
I think my two favorite things about the season were 456 dying, and the beautiful friendship between 222, the mom, and Hyun-Ju.
I think since they plan on doing an American series and if so, then I think it ended perfectly to set that show up.
I love this show and still enjoyed the season. I just think we all know it got worse as it went on.

More vampires that don't act like vampires
This was okay. I wish people would stop making vampire stuff if they're not going to go fully into it with the blood sucking and biting. The chemistry between the main two was okay but not the best. Same with their kissing/spicy scenes, they were just mid. None of the characters were super enjoyable either and the big twist was super predictable. Was this review helpful to you?

I was here for the mess!!
This show was MESSY and I ate it up!! Loved it!! There was so much drama! I haven't seen the first Only Friends series, so I really didn't know what to expect going into this, but I loved it! I plan on watching the first one soon. I loved how it was all while putting on a play and getting to see that while everything else was happening. Some of the drama was a little stupid in my opinion, especially the fight that broke Jack and Dean as well as Arnold and Tua up. I thought it was a little ridiculous to cause a fight to begin with let alone breaking up. Other than that, I loved how dramatic and messy this show was.Jack and Dean:
Loved their chemistry! Earthmix just has such good chemistry with each other and I loved seeing them. Their spicey scenes were pretty good too. They are quite toxic but you kind of expect that with a show like this. I loved seeing how their relationship kept changing over and over. I'm glad in the finale they took a year away from each other so they could grow as people and be without each other for a while. I do think they will break up again tbh lol but they are cute together and truly mean a lot to each other.
Jack-I was so back and forth on how I felt about Jack. One minute I really liked him, the next I hated him. He's very toxic with how he treats Dean and how he treated Raffy as well. He stayed pissing me off.
Dean-My number two favorite character. Loved him so much! He was chaotic and a bit messy but was so fun to watch. I really felt bad for him too with his past and how people treat him. A lot of people were out to see his downfall, and he really didn't deserve that at all. My poor baby
Rome and Raffy:
I think they had some of the most iconic moments of the season for sure. They were my favorite pair and not just because I was happy to finally see AouBoom get a main role in something. Their chemistry is off the charts. I loved seeing their relationship develop and change over time too. I really think they are good for each other in a lot of ways.
Rome-MY FAVE CHARACTER! Loved him so much! He wasn't messy, he never pissed me off like a lot of the other characters and seemed to just be the most reasonable out of everyone. I liked when he stood his ground with Raffy about not just wanting to be a rebound for him. I LOVED when he punched Jack, that was the best. I could go on and on about him I loved I'm so much.
Raffy-He was messy. I'm glad he grew over the series because there were many times in the beginning that he was pissing me off. I loved him but hated him in moments too. I loved who he was by the end of the series. I was so happy when he told off Jack and started fighting for Rome.
Arnold and Tua:
This couple was the least exciting for me. I think because of the drama and crazy spicey scenes from the other two pairs, these two seemed a little boring. If this were a regular series, I think I would've enjoyed them more. They were so cute and wholesome and felt like a real relationship growing from friends to boyfriends. I just think it felt a little underwhelming compared to the chaos of everything else.
Arnold-He was a little dumb but had a big heart and good vibes lol. I liked him, wasn't my favorite but didn't have a problem with him either.
Tua-He was really nice and I liked watching grow more confident in himself over the show.
One thing I will say is I wish we got to see more of the friendships in the show. Dean and Tua are supposed to be best friends, but we saw them together so little that I would forget that all the time. So, their fight and even them forgiving each other didn't have as big of an impact as it could've. Same with the group of four (Jack, Dean, Tua, and Timmy). They mentioned a few times that they were all close, but we never saw all four of them together and we only really ever saw Timmy with Jack.
Boston also just seemed like such a useless character to me. They seemed to forget about him in the second half of the show too. Same with Gameplay he was just the most pointless character to me. Pete...this mf. He got no real punishment for all that he did and I hated that. He was stealing money and recorded that video and lied so many times but faced no consequences. So stupid.
I just loved this show so much and really enjoyed watching it! I'm going to miss it!!
