Better than you'd think!

This show was pretty funny and was really enjoyable. I don't usually like superhero shows, but this one was pretty good. I only watched it because Eunwoo was in it to be honest or I never would've checked it out. He looked so fine in this show. I think the comedy really helped with this show. I'm glad it all came out at once and not weekly because I don't think it would've done well coming out one episode at a time. The characters were all pretty interesting. I loved Un Jeong, Chae Ni, and some of the villain characters as well. Some of the powers were pretty cool too. Strength and the sticky power were pretty lame I can't lie and Gyeong Un annoyed me. I saw there was an after credits scene so maybe we'll get a season two which I wouldn't mind. Overall, the show was better than I thought it would!

Some things were left unanswered

I really liked this show, but there are a few things that I didn't care for. I finished it yesterday and wanted a day to let it sit specifically because of the ending. I loved the concept of the show and loved that it kept it you guessing who the killer was the whole time.

I liked Tae Ju, Ji Won, Gi Beom, and Yeong Beom. Pretty much all of the other characters I either didn't care for or just hated. They did a good job making you really hate the characters like Si Yeong and the other couple cops.

I will say the back and forth between 1988 and 2019 felt like it wasn't really needed until the very end with the trial and everything. A lot of the stuff throughout the earlier episodes with the 2019 plot just felt pointless to me. Maybe it's also because I guessed who the killer was very early on, but who knows.

There were a few things that they never circled back to which bugged me a little bit. Why did Sun Yeong want to breakup with Gi Beom? Especially because she then acted like that conversation didn't happen. Why did they never show Yeong Beom a picture of his dad? I get why they didn't say exactly how he died, but you couldn't even show him a picture...why? A lot of it for me has to do with Gi Hwan and the killings itself that just left a lot of things unanswered. Why did Gi Hwan begin killing? Why did he change his name? Why was he even arrested? (because it was before they found out what he did). Why was the case reopened and why did it lead to him being the killer? I have more but I'll stop there. The show just had a lot of things after the finale that felt unanswered and incomplete and that's where it lost some points for me.

As for the finale...I had to let it sit for a day because my immediate reaction was that I didn't like it. After sitting with it I think it's okay but not great. To me it felt like they thought they had an extra episode or more and then didn't so they just did the best with the last episode as they could. I obviously wish Si Yeong and the cops got arrested or in trouble for all they did, but I think they were going for the angle of sometime not all justice is served. So I didn't mind it when thinking about it like that.

Overall I enjoyed the show and enjoyed the mystery of it all. I liked it mainly taking place in the 80's as well. All the acting was incredible! I watched it for Park Hae Soo to begin with and really enjoyed it. I am glad I binged it once it was all out rather than watching it weekly because I do think it's a show that's better to binge just because of all the details you don't want to miss. If you like cops and murder mystery shows than I think this one is pretty enjoyable.

A lot of forced drama for no reason

This was good but definitely had moments that felt like forced drama just to keep the show going. Everything with that one guy (I don't even remember his name) was so stupid. Why did he even hate the main two so bad? That felt out of nowhere and then they just kept it going. I did think we'd get a bit more of them together so that was a little disappointing too. It seemed like every time we got a little progress towards them being in a relationship, we then took a few steps back. They were really cute together whether that be as best friends or more. Li Ming and Ouyang were really fun together and I was so happy when they finally got together. The actor's chemistry was pretty good as well. I'm glad I watched this pretty much in one sitting because I think I would've gotten pretty bored if I watched it weekly.

Are we getting a season 2?

I thought this was okay, but I didn't love it.

I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but Jack seemed very different to me in this. He seemed weaker to me. Fighting wise in the show he was supposed to be one of the best and he was far from that in the special. Even his personality seemed off to me (and that's before the tragedy happened.

I hate than Tattoo and Aran still didn't get together. They set it up for them to get together in the show and in the special and they didn't. I get that it doesn't always happen in the series, but usually if there's a season two or special they use that and they didn't which was frustrating, especially since they kept mentioning it.

Another small thing is that Jack and Joke adopted Toiting in the end of the series and in the special episode it didn't feel that way at all.

Do I love that they killed Joke? No, I obviously wanted them to get together and be happy. That being said his death and how Jack dealt with it after was so well written. I teared up from the moment Aran was stabbed through the end of the show. The wedding scene was absolutely devastating. The acting from Yin during it all was so good.

I don't think the special episode was really needed. I did enjoy seeing most of the characters again and I did like Carbon coming back as the bad guy, but I think the story could've ended where it did.

Needed to be longer

Pretty cute story that I wish we had just a bit more time with. I really liked this and looked forward to the next episode every week, it just felt so short. The last two episodes felt like they needed more time as well. We should've had more once U Jin survived.

I think if we had more time to get to know the characters more, it would've made the story hit harder. I wish we got to see more of the main two together in the past as well as in the end when he survives, more of them with Tae Jun, and just all of them individually as well.

I loved the main two characters a lot and they had great chemistry together. I would love to see them in something else together. Their love story in school is so cute, especially for it taking place in 2008. It was so cute to see them fall in love. I liked seeing the differences of what happened the first-time vs when Hye Seong is reliving it.

I loved all the kitties so much!

This show was so cute and fun! I love FirstKhaotung so I knew I had to watch it! Their chemistry is always amazing! I heard this show was made for them and I think that really came across on screen. I liked their characters too as well as the rest of the cast.

I liked the story; it wasn't anything too complicated. The cats all having voices was really fun and I love how they each kind of had their own episode. They were so cute too! The way the power passed to the next person was a little strange, but I didn't mind it either.

I do wish we got more scenes between just Lynx and Tiger. I felt like that was where the show was lacking for me. We really didn't get a lot of moments of just them. Leo or the cats were always around or interrupting. I wish we got a few more kisses between them too. It's fine if it's not a spicy show, but I do wish we got them being intimate or acting like a couple a bit more.

Adorable!

This was so cute! I watched it after randomly finding it on Viki and really enjoyed it. A very fun and adorable high school romance. I liked the main two characters a lot and love that we really got to know them and watch them grow thoughout the movie! Their relationship was fun to watch develop too. Them both having the interest in space and seeing them bond over that was really sweet! I really like how it ended as well! So cute! If you like a a good high school romance, I really recommend this one!

Great concept!

I liked the story a lot and think the concept of it was really interesting! The deaths were pretty unique too even if visually the effects weren't always the best, they were okay just not great. I liked the characters a lot too! Loved watching how quickly they became friends and cared for each other. The ending did seem to kind of come out of nowhere, but I didn't mind it.

Someone teach these people how to kiss

This is your very typical web/short drama where some plotlines feel drawn out, some are way too rushed, and it's hard to get really get into any of the story. It's 24 episodes that are only about 15 minutes when you exclude the intro and outro, and so much happens yet also nothing at all at the same time. Was this bad? Not really, but it wasn't good either.

The whole thing about them being exes was interesting, until it was revealed that they really weren't. Sure, they were "dating", but they were long distance the entire time and didn't every see each other and barely talked for that entire four years so in my opinion they weren't really dating. If I were Xiang Nan Feng, I would've never been able to get back together with Ren Xi Zhou. Not only was she just a major liar, but also just because of how they're "dating" played out, no thanks. The chemistry between the actors was decent and the characters had some cute moments together. Their kiss at the end was one of the worst I've seen in quite a while. We really waited 24 episodes for that...*sigh*

As for the other characters...they were fine, I guess. Like I said before these short dramas make it hard sometimes to really care about or get attached at all. I have seen some really good short/web drama's but unfortunately this isn't one of them. That all being said I did enjoy watching it, but I just think there's nothing really too exciting about it.

Hui Won's mother can catch these hands

I really enjoyed this. I was looking for fun romcom and really liked this one! The characters were mostly enjoyable, and it has some genuine funny moments as well.

I really liked Du Jun and was happy he wasn't your typical cold tsundere style CEO. I liked that we got to see his goofy and caring side right away. I loved seeing him with Se Hyeon as well, it was so cute! I really like Hui Won too! I love that we got see different sides of her including her internal struggles about whether to keep the baby or not, and even when she decided to keep the baby, her questioning if she would be a good mom or not. A lot of her struggles were really nice to see because I feel like they aren't topics brought to light very often in media. I love the two of them together as well!
Se Hyeon was my favorite character! I just loved her! I loved that she wasn't afraid to go against her mother for what is right. I loved Mi Ran, Min Uk, and the coworkers as well!
For characters I didn't like, obviously I didn't like Jeong Eum. She was awful. Even though I didn't like her, I will say she made a great villain. I liked that she turned herself in at the end too. Moving onto Hui Won's mother...literally fuck her. She was an awful and abusive mother, and I absolutely hate how she was just forgiven in the end. This was the biggest thing I didn't like about this show. She never admitted to being abusive, never realized she was awful to her daughter, never apologized...NOTHING!! AND YET SHE WAS FORGIVEN?! WHY?! The reason her being forgiven being because Hui Won is becoming a mother is the dumbest thing ever. She shouldn't be in Hui Won's life at all. She has no self-reflecting or character growth at all. I hated that she was forgiven so much.

I do wish they gave Hui Won a baby bump, but that's not super important. I loved the time jump so we could see how they were doing as parents as well as what everyone else is doing. Love that she was pregnant in the end again too!

Short and cute series

This was a pretty cute short series! The concept of it from the trailer seemed really fun and I think it was pulled off pretty well! I absolutely love Dew, so I was more than happy to watch a series with him in it as well! I am glad it wasn't any longer because I feel it would've felt dragged out and overstayed its welcome.

Phayu was actually so awful, especially as a boyfriend. I'm happy in the end he realizes that apologizes and turns himself around. That was nice to see. Poor May! I'm glad they didn't get back together but found peace with each other in the end. Satsuki was a fun character as well. Her and Phayu are pretty cute together and I don't think anyone was shocked they got together in the end. I was just more shocked he left for nine months to do all he did before coming back.

Overall, it was really cute. It was cool getting to hear different languages too.

Enjoyable but a little boring

I love these actors, especially Woo Do Hwan, and have heard a lot about this show so I wanted to check it out. Everyone did a great job with the acting! The fighting and boxing scenes were really enjoyable to watch. I liked the story, but it was quite a bit boring at times and found myself easily getting distracted while watching. I'll definitely check out season two this year when it comes out though!

These spicy scenes go crazy...I love it

These two episodes were better than the actual show. I hated these two in the show, I'm not even going to lie. They're relationship was all about sex and nothing else. Neither of them had any personality either. I was just sex and that's it. In these two episodes we saw more of an actual relationship from them and actual bonding sweet moments between them, than we did in the entirety of the rest of the show.

Do I like these two? No. That being said, I did enjoy this much more. their chemistry is really good too.

The spice...was immaculate. Actual TOP TIER SH*T!

The writing was better than season one

I actually think I may have enjoyed this more than the show itself. I loved that we got to see this world more that we just glimpses of in the original show!

The way it ended it seemed like maybe there could be a season two, which I would be fine with. I'm always down to watch more Boss and Nouel content! As for the actual show, I hope they do better with the writing like they did in this because it seemed to improve from season one.

The spice was good as always!

The ending felt flat

I liked this movie, but I will say the ending felt like it was missing something. The last 5 or so minutes just felt like could've used a bit more. The first half of this movie was really intriguing and even could be quite relatable, but the second half it started to go a bit downhill for me. Seeing the main character spiral into madness was pretty entertaining to watch. I just think the movie was pretty predictable and again the last 5-10 minutes or so could use some work.
