Aviation theme, badass female pilot, breathtaking aviation sequences, and one of a kind wedding. Excellent cast, cinematography and OST. Sweet romance and inspiring story. This drama commands and deserves more respect!

Patience 😀 It is logical. As long as the conflict of interest exists, the board will not allow reforms. I guess when Captain Fan was suspended, Fu Mingyu tried to make reforms but the old fc'king board members didn't pass it. She had to take the orders, go on a break, then undergo whatever retraining was needed 🙄 and then join back which took some time. And that's why she was not seen for a few episodes. Now they are using Ruan Sixian as the shield to resist the reforms. Since their relationship is already public, only if the breakup is public will the old farts consider anything. To go against the shareholders will not be wise for Hengshi business. Ruan Sixian recognised this dilemma and made a call as no way Fu Mingyu would even think about breakup in his dreams. And of course as a girl who made it this far herself, if she isn't suspended as per the current rules, rumours will go around that she was treated differently because of being CEO gf which she won't want to hear So a career highlight for Fu Mingyu with Ruan Sixian's support 💖

So, does it mean this is a tactical way of solving the problem. Breakup was never meant and she knew they would reunite. The old farts wouldn't let the reforms happen and they know he wont ground her. This way they resist the reforms and reduce his power. The board told Fu Mingyu to ground Ruan Sixian, but he said no. The shareholders were totally putting pressure on him. They want him to pick between his career and hers. If they don't break up, his company is gonna be a mess and no reforms can happen. FL knew he wouldn't want her to suffer, so he kept taking all that pressure from the board himself instead of grounding anything. She didn't want him in a tough spot and just wanted him to do what he needed to do (the reform) without worrying about her... that's actually why she broke up with him. Watch the episode carefully. She first goes on a date with him to the amusement park. At the end of the day even without her telling him anything he knew what was coming. Both knew! That's maturity and understanding. But I agree her words were very harsh!
It still works for two reasons. For her, the accusations of favoritism or nepotism due to her relationship with the CEO threaten her career credibility. This break-up allows her to stand entirely on her own professional merits during a critical time of rigorous final pilot assessments. For him, it is an opportunity to throw away the 20 year old corporate policies and make major reforms that suits the current requirements. Also to learn to support her dreams from a respectful distance rather than trying to manage or fix her problems.
And it forces both Fu and Ruan to confront what their lives look like without each other.
Once they have been through this, they reunite with clarity and without any lingering misunderstandings leading to a very happy ending.

This guy started with small support roles, in his mid twenties which would be considered a late start in C Biz, worked his way to ML roles only to get typecast in romcoms for years, worked out how to get out of the typecast and in the last couple of years applied it through his selection of scripts and is now cast as ML in major productions. Howzzatt?? No, not purely by chance or luck! But sheer hardwork, dedication, discipline and perseverance. All this for a handsome man with a bundle of talents and superior qualities 💖 May he continue to grow and shine brightly for many years to come!!

A lot of sweet scenes and only those who have spent time to watch this drama can appreciate it. It feels like many of the negative reviews come from people who weren't actually paying attention to the story.
The cinematography in this series is stunning! To have an elaborate proposal and a proper wedding in a drama is a major plus. Actually the last 6 episodes made it up for the flaws. I liked the romantic storyline between the main leads, I enjoy this kind of slow-building, flirtatious tension. If they had cut Shen'ao village into 3 episodes and deleted all the village gossip, it could have got a 8.5. (Read on Rednote that the segment in the village was filmed in collaboration with the local tourism bureau, something to do with investors) 8.2/10
