I can't imagine they are that free to blacklist a bunch of dramas and peg them down they don't even update the timetable. I think there are those folk that don't like the new angst or the CP or think Siyi is the main lead (or should be!) etc - rating it down... quite a few reasons to put then off halfway...also lots won't rate until the drama finishes so we should wait till then to see.

The current ratings are comparable to most slice of life dramas to be honest. I think maybe only Meet Yourself has scored really high can't think of many of these types beyond an 8 or 8.2 tops. Hopefully by the end of the series that's what it will achieve.

I'm UK based so finding Chinese stuff on is hard with the language barrier. Been trying to find more clips of Ou Hao singing for example and really struggle as think it needs Chinese characters.

They seemed to have aligned it together - guess they don't want spoilers for the final episode which is good (but nerve-wrecking for all viewers lol!).

Can't believe it's finishing though!!

But the truth of it maybe is that a majority of the international audience here may not take to this sort of genre or story or even appreciate it if you want an escape from reality. And the drama is incomplete anyway so the rating will also depend on its ending.

Let's see how it pans out and just encourage others to watch in the meantime.

No problem! Can you access Insta or Youtube easily? Some fan accounts there update info most quickly I find and where I find info on any Chinese/Korean idol I am following (haha I don't have many tbf so easy to spot an update).

I think this one hits hard for people in different ways - some appreciate it, some prefer the escapism of idol drama. This is definitely not an idol drama. Probably only Ordinary Greatness is the most similar to it in a way, among the work she has done.

Sorry didn't mean to but I got annoyed at all 10/10 reviews here before the drama even started/finished like they are trying to balance the 1/10s (haters). I'll edit that bit, sorry if it came across harsh to genuine lovers of the drama.

Just go watch it, it's free on youtube. If you don't like it drop it. This is not a popular drama here to start with. Ratings mean nothing here.

We need to stop focusing on ratings (MDL ones mean the least to be honest....) and get back to the drama....

People don't like the latest part of the plot I get that. Also not many are watching so any downvotes will give a big swing. You need to wait till the drama ends to see where it lands.

It is right. All along I have been CP fan of her and Allen Ren, a bit of Dylan, ARP was my latest fave and then boom I saw this and I've wanted this CP ever since 😅

I think this is what watching dramas used to be like though (maybe still lol). One episode a week 🤣

Round this side of the world (UK) it's like begging to be stolen if you have one..I would never buy one!
