I was looking at the Hi6 episode in the beginning and was all drawn in as he entered the building as Shi Yan etc. Then he just breaks character to be Dylan and I'm in stitches over everything he says! 😆

No problem - I recently dropped a old drama of an actor I really liked (Wang Xingyue) so I know the feeling - they are great actors, the acting is good but the plot/story/FL (maybe??) just can't draw you in!

I think she's only done Ordinary Greatness and Northwards for the more serious dramas so may have to wait for next year's Northwards...which looks great and had very spoilers so far, so looking forward to that too!

Yes the length is my concern...but I've enjoyed the first episode and I liked the novel. I also have seen much fewer c-dramas than most so tropes are not putting me off just yet!

Wouldn't worry about dropping it if it doesn't appeal, there's currently a lot of good dramas out there 😊

People do seem to rate it early now to draw (or put off) more viewers it seems. You can rate it per episode too.

I gotta admit even for her current filming drama CTM - I was thinking "but we've just seen her in a demon drama..." somehow she'll make it different.

If it helps BL read the original novel, not sure if before or after the script and she wanted to do something different/modern after filming SOKP.

Also part of the reason she wanted to do this was the director as they worked well in One and Only.
