This love triangle between Sooji, Yongho and Seongbum is so zzzZzz to me and it seems like it will be a thing in the show. Personally I don’t see anything interesting about Sooji besides the fact she’s pretty so…yeah. I like Yongho so I hope he give a chance to other girls as well.

You made a nice observation but Yongho could have used contact lenses? he wasn’t using glasses in their first meeting so i’m confused. But I do think it’s Seongbum. I think based on his profission, he looks more like a money catcher. He’s a rapper but he’s not popular so it would be more obvious for him to choose money than love to invest in his career.

And yes I liked Yongho with Seungyeon more I think they matched. But seemed like he only have eyes for Sooji. Either way I think both are money catchers haha maybe Seungyeon isn’t but let’s see.

I can only see Tae Eun as love catcher for now and maybe some guys who are money catcher are also going to see this and begin to chase her? Let’s see.

Omg i’m having Love Catcher S3 flashbacks…seems like we have another Jimin x Jimin problem? 😭 but i’m shipping Sooro and Tae Eun so much, they really fit each other. Problem is that 8 years age gap is really big and I understand both sides being uncomfortable, especially for Tae Eun because a woman dating someone younger always looks bad to society. I’m afraid they won’t end up together because of their age but i’m hope i’m wrong.

Besides them I also liked Hyojin and Junghyun. They really have chemistry together and their visuals really match with each other. I also think their personalities can match but let’s see. I liked most of the cast but the girls seemed more likeable to me. My favorite ones are Tae Eun, Hyojin and Seung Yeon for now. For the boys I liked Junghyun and Yongho more. But Sooro is also ok.

I think Sooro and Junghyun are money catchers. I think Sooro chose Hyojin first because she looks like love catcher but now that he saw that Tae Eun is really interested in him and she’s looking like a love catcher i think he’s changing his mind (ofc they have a age gap but lets see how they will handle). Yongho may look like a Money catcher but I think he might be Love catcher or change in the end. Seong Bum also do seem like a money catcher. Hyojin looks like a Love catcher but she might be acting. Sooji look like a money catcher. Yu Jeong and Seung Yeon as well. Tae Eun looks like a Love catcher for me because she’s only interested in Sooro and even though he looks like a money catcher she is not even suspecting him, it seems like she’s really interested in him.

I’m really excited for the new episodes! Love Catcher S3 was a disappointment for me so I hope this one will be better.

Tsumogi and Sou’s scenes feel uncomfortable to me sometimes because she was just in love with Minato and then in the next two episodes she is already in love with Sou? I would understand that if she was already in love with the two of them before but she was the one who said she wasn’t so I’m really confused. I love this drama but I feel like her relationship with Minato was really unnecessary to the story and made difficult to understand her as character later. I don’t think she liked Minato before because I didn’t see enough moments to believe that but she was the one who said so. But also I didn’t see that much scenes to believe she liked Sou. She’s connected to him tho and this is the reason I knew she would like him later. But everything happened too fast 😭 They should’ve just focus on Sou and Tsumogi since the beginning.

Talking about EP7, Nana’s scenes with Sou was really cute, I almost shipped them lol I’m curious to see what Nana’s relationship with Tsumogi’s teacher will be. And omg Tsumogi can be annoying sometimes like the girl just don’t think before speak. I understand her being curious about why Sou it’s not using his voice to speak but sometimes we avoid to say some things to not make the person sad. I’m happy she make herself clear to him later and said his voice is not the only thing she likes about him.

It’s already close to the end but i’m sure we will have our happy ending with our couple. I do believe we’ll have a few dramas left but nothing too serious for them not being together in the end.

Li Wei the first feminist in the story!!!! But seriously I’ve never seen a historical drama where all female characters bonds that much and it’s always fighting for woman’s right, freedom and equality. I love those scenes! But I got to say, i’m missing some romantic scenes 😭 I like how Li Wei is always thinking about the girls and it makes sense that she wants to help them especially her best friend. But I wish we could see a bit of more focus on her and Yin Zheng relationship.

This is like the school version of DP and omg WHAT A MASTERPIECE! For me this is TOP5 best kdramas of the year (my number one particularly until now). Everything is so good: opening, ost, acting is PHENOMAL, direction, story line, characters…it’s just so good. I really recommend this one!

PS: Jihoon really amazed me here. He’s really good and better than some “experienced” actors. I really wish he wins some award with his role.

God I just love Yin Qi and Guan Jing, i’m such a sucker for a dumbass quirky male character and a strong female character pairing, it’s the best for me and a little rare to see. I’m excited to see more romantic scenes of them. Actually not only them but Yin Zheng and Li Wei as well because man, this slow burn romance is killing me (ok we got one kiss but I want more 😭 they’re so cute together)

The union that the female characters have here is so refreshing, they could easily be rivals but they help each other instead. Yuan Ying had everything to get in the way of the main couple but instead she takes their side and even helps Li Wei. I love their relationship btw. She’s always seems to take Li Wei’s side and i’m not gonna lie, if Yin Zheng and Li Wei didn’t have a great chemistry together and wasn’t so cute together, I would probably shipp her with Yuan Ying lol

Li Wei is growing little by little and i’m loving to see! I actually really like how feminist this character is. The way she stands up to the differences between men and women and always stands by women is amazing. I love how she tries to break the idea that a woman is a mere object and a woman's role is only to be submissive.

So yeah I’m really enjoying! I’m afraid we will have some drama later but if continues this way this drama will be one of my favorites this year. Simple but well made and with amazing characters.

Loving this!!!! I like almost all characters, the sisterhood here is perfect, ML is cute and caring, and it’s a really fun drama in general. My only wish for now is that male lead learns to be more assertive, sometimes I feel like he’s TOO good and reserved. I want to see him being more strong and direct. And I like female lead but I also want a more stronger development for her, she needs to decide what she wants and put everything on this.

Yuan Ying can be a good help for both main leads right now, I hope she doesn’t break her promise and fall for ML, this would be really annoying.

PS: I’m really excited for the romance scenes between both main leads. They’re really cute 😭

glad that more people start to have the same sentiment as me. I have screamed into the void since few eps back…
Yeah I also like how the drama try to make everyone important in the story, not only the main leads, but I feel that right now is too much. It’s an issue when we can’t understand clearly the main characters or we feel like they aren’t explored enough.

And Yeah…the way I’m seeing we will only see a more romantic vibes between Tsumogi and Sou only in the last two episodes (after all she just broke up with Minato) And maybe the last episode is an open one lol

Kaho is an excellent actress and made me feel a lot of things in the episode. First, I loved the scene at the beginning where Nana talks about equality with Sou. People with hearing impairment can have happy days and sad days just like people who can hear. A "silent world" can also be a fun world. And she will listen to whatever Sou has to say, silently. This speech was very important for Sou and made he feel that he wasn’t lonely. I also found the interaction between the two in college very cute.

But her attitude later wasn’t nice. I understand her feelings and it's plausible that she felt lonely and abandoned, she build this relationship with Sou and now seemed like Tsumogi came out of nowhere and took everything. But the way she threw everything on Sou's back, made him feel guilty about Tsumogi and Minato, made fun of the situation and then even distorted the idea of equality that she itself brought up earlier in college was really wrong. Guess "equality" only worked when it suited her, right? And her still going after Tsumogi was another wrong move. She made everyone feel awkward. But I won't lie, in the end I feel sorry for her. She's a human and she freaked out. I hope she reflects on herself and apologizes later.

About Tsumogi, I still can't 100% understand this character's feelings. Does she like Sou? because it looked like she was jealous of him with Nana. Minato is very smart. When he asks Sou about Nana and Sou replies, he automatically understood their relationship. This scene made me wonder if Sou is friends with her just for convenience (although I do think he find her a important person)

I actually think Sou is a very complex character and I wanted more of him in the story because I still feel that he is a secondary character and only his deficiency is used to move the plot. It’s like we can understand others characters but not the main leads. We have only 4 more episodes left so we need to be able to understand more clearly what Sou and Tsumogi are thinking. I guess the writer wanted to make things more interpretative but it’s time for a more direct move.

Man I just feel so bad for the characters. First poor Tsumogi. Sou dumped her when she did nothing wrong and now she's being dumped one more time for doing nothing again. I really don't know how she's handling everything. Minato as well is pitful. I know his attitude is super selfish I kind hated how he reacted to everything) but I also understand. For him, he and Tsumogi would never have something special, a bond, as she had with Sou. Yeah in the end it's his own insecurities that it's eating him up but I feel kind bad as we all know he really likes her. And Sou, who almost was pushed to this whole situation, is also suffering because these two people are too important for him and now he thinks it's all his fault. I really don't know how the characters will putt everything behind and still be friends because man, it's awkward.

Now with the break up I'm curious to see what will happens next. I got to say that I didn't like this Tsumogi × Minato thing (I wished they focused more on Sou) and I'm worried how they will make Tsumogi like Sou again without making everything too fast.
Maybe some time will pass?

Was the SFL's behavior as backstabbing as it was in the Korean version? I couldn't stand the things she did in…
You’re welcome!! I still recommend this version tho as it’s shorter and better than the korean version in my opinion. But I do agree with your view about her friend.

Omg the angst is real for the next episodes! All characters are pitiful here. First we have Minato. It seems like his relationship with Tsumogi was already dragging on but he put up with everything because he liked her a lot and didn't want to hurt her. But I think he always felt a wall between the two of them. The truth is that Minato knows that many of Tsumogi’s tastes and personality have a connection with Sou and now, with Sou’s return, he has realized that the "right" person for Tsumogi it’s not him and he can put Tsumogi in the hands of someone he also loves. He of course will suffer a lot of this because it’s about his best friend and the girl he likes. I just didn’t like how he handled this situation. It looked like he just gave up and put everything on Sou’s shoulders.

Tsumogi will be completely confused by all this and it's extremely plausible. On the one hand we have Sou, her past love, someone which she shared many hobbies. They were so in love but this love came to an end too abruptly and seemed like she never forgot about this. It’s like Sou’s soul was always with her. On the other we have Minato, a friend who always stayed by her side and who became her new reason to smile, but still, seems like she cannot connect 100% with him. She’s also not that happy with him, although she wants to believe that because she doesn’t want to hurt him. But I believe that later on, Tsumogi will realize all of this, although at the moment she believes she loves Minato romantically.

and finally we have Sou. A person who didn't ask for any of this to happen but unfortunately we can't control our feelings. I can’t imagine the guilt he will feel for being between the relationship of two people he loves. And it's even worse because he thinks he's inferior and not worthy of Tsumogi’s love just because he can't hear. How much this character will suffer? I can’t 😭

But I’m really looking forward to seeing how all of this will unfold. I think Tsumogi and Sou will take a time to accept their feelings and idk but looks like her brother won’t accept her relationship with Sou that well.

Title Nobuta wo Produce Spoiler
This drama could’ve been easily ruined if they put a love triangle between the characters, i’m glad it didn’t happen (although sometimes seemed like Nobuta liked Shuji).

The friendship between the characters was really nice but for me Shuji and Akira were totally a scene stealer. Nobuta wasn’t bad but not that captivating as the others. She was a important character tho, as it’s because of her that the friendship between them it’s made. Shuji was a character that I identified myself a lot and I liked how observant and smart he was, especially about his view of how society works. Akira was my fav of the three of them. I loved his goofiness side and besides doing weird and crazy things, he was just so sweet with everyone, even with the ones who didn’t care for him. For me he also was the one who tried to make Nobuta happy the most. His “Nobuta Power~” was really sweet and in a way become a symbol of strength for not just Nobuta for but all of them. It’s a shame that sometimes looked like the writers cared more for Shuji and Nobuta. But Yamapi was really good in this role!

The only thing I didn’t like that much is that I wished they focused a little more in the characters itself because they could’ve grown a little more. Nobuta was a “weird” girl with an awful posture in most of the drama, only changing a little more in the last 2 episodes, and yes, she become less shy in the end. Shuji was a character that cared too much about people and only started to look up more for the right people in the last episodes. In the end, he still was the popular guy surrounded by everyone. Akira still was the crazy guy and that’s it. But one thing I liked about the last episode it’s that both Shuji and Akira teamed up to help Nobuta and when she finally “grow”, she could live without their helps.

So yeah. It’s not a perfect drama but it’s enjoyable and do have their charms. Some values shared by Shuji’s thoughts were really interesting and the friendship between the characters it’s really moving. Akira it’s also one of the most fun and charismatic characters i’ve seen.
