Well said. Bravo. Never seen a BL like this. This entire show from the start seemed personal in nature, as if they are a real life couple and all this really happened to them in real life. It was like 2 lovers airing out their personal toxic feelings. And, not acting. This project really is very toxic and strange and not well written. For a BL debut, for both, this was over the top. After the 2 actors from Untamed collaborated together, they turn down future projects together, they refused to work together in the same frame, because they are a couple now, and cares deeply for each other, and their careers. China doesn’t promote back to back duo BLs like Thailand. To My Shore, one actor (the younger one) has not been casted since that project, and the other actor has so many projects listed. None are BLs.

Great analysis. You’re spot on. I, too, said he was weird from episode one. He forced him every single day to be with him. People aren’t seeing this. However, after seeing nearly 75 BLs, this drama did not seem like a BL drama, imo.

Everyone does. He looks like his lover’s son. That’s cringe to many. I cannot see them making more BLs together. It looks so unnatural. This kid does need to do BLs. But, he’s grown. Regular dramas are good for him.

Exactly. I said the same thing. He looks like his lover’s son. He looks 16/17, so underage. He treats him like a kid onset and offset. Their whole interaction is cringy to many that have dropped the show, because of the older guy’s character of being overly possessive, is is like a mad man.

The BL actors in their 30’s, not many, do not have BL actors that look like underage children. This second ML looks like his kid, that he takes to school everyday. He does not look right for role, but he got it. But, on camera, they do look cringy because the 32 year old man looks old compared to that 27 year old kid. Look at them, they look like father and son.😥

Not really in Thailand. Most of the ones in their 30’s in Thailand don’t really get casting for BLs, only a few. BLs are for the ones born late 90’s to early 2000s. People are not really waiting to see older actors in BLs. This guy is trying to prove a point, you think? He has about 3 to 5 years, and it’s over. He already looks old in this character.

Agreed. Hopefully, they will marry a celebrity. Allen’s wife was an actress initially, he met her onset. After that project, she’s not acting anymore, perhaps a stay home mom for their son. Allen works so intensely hard so she doesn’t have to act or work anymore.

Yes, haven’t they realized Allen is married and has been for years. He’s in his late 30’s. He remains true and steadfast to his family. Allen got married around the same age some of these famous guys are starting out now. None of them are married, and probably never will get married while a celebrity. I can’t imagine a Dylan Wang, ZLH, Shen Ye, Seven , SongW, Leo Wu, Bai Lu, Zhoa Lusi, etc. It’s hard to picture any of them married. But, Allen is a great actor, and I normally watch all his cdramas, at least I try to. The long episodes get to me sometimes. Lol.

Allegedly, it’s true. The project he was simultaneously working on will be released this year. He has a contract, and does what he is told. The 2 directors of each project probably work this out amongst themselves. At this point, he had to do it, since he signed both project contracts. The great comparison will be if he’s MIA in the new project, then the theory proves correctly.

Agreed, and especially if you are a young and good looking actor or actress. They are not even paid that well for those projects, long hours, and toxicity they encounter., allegedly.

Exactly! The drama is all about her. The complaints of makeup as if he made himself up daily. All he did was come to work, and the makeup artists take over. The director has not complained. Yang Yang had makeup on in Who Runs the World. That project was also about a strong female character, and Lusi did not disappoint. Nobody said anything about Yang Yang’s makeup in his project.

They are jealous and was not expecting the drama to do this well. The FL was awesome, and had a lot to do with this drama being so successful, every character loved her to include the villains.

Glad you noticed that. He was MIA a lot, because he was filming another project simultaneously with POJ. So, allegedly this explains his constant resting, always not around during critical moments, or just injured. IMO, he looked exhausted in a lot of episodes running from set to set, getting into character for each, this adds more talent to his craft. Great observation, I’ve said the same thing, he was definitely MIA a lot on POJ. This is probably why the 4 or 5 bodyguards was always with her protecting her. Honestly, wasn’t POJ about her, and not him?

Nice response. Albeit, this has all to do with jealousy and misfortunes on others behalf. The drama was absolutely a success from all four corners of earth. ZLH is a very smart young man, comes from a good family, looks from his mom, raised right, and blessed with such height. They are starting this drama with him, as seen with other popular really handsome Chinese actors. Agreed, this is uncalled for how the success of the show, and how he’s being portrayed, and MAD because of his visuals. Deng Kai is handsome as well, nobody has said anything about his makeup or beautiful white hair in costume added beauty to him. He’s 6’2”, tall like ZLH, still shy by one inch. Leo Wu could have easily played Marquis, but he was probably on another project during shooting of POJ. Your response was spot on.
