to be honest, i like the things i like

IF YOU HAVE ANY GOOD ROLE REVERSAL DRAMAS, RECOMMEND THEM TO ME PLEASE (+ noona romances because no man deserves to top)

I almost never give things below 5. But I also rarely give things a 10/10 so bear with me.

5-5.9 - Awful.

"What on earth did I just watch?"

6-6.9- Awful but had some interesting elements. Enough for me to complete it.

Outdated ideas, frustrating characters, they all impede on the notion of enjoying the drama. Sure, there are a few things that perked my interest, but most of the time, this piece of film is beyond saving.

7-7.9- It was ok/good but it wasn't exactly life-changing. At least it was enjoyable.

These dramas might be interesting, but lack the necessary depth to rank it higher. They might have all the plot twists and cliches, but not enough emotional depth or character development within them. They may also be quite boring and tough to get through when the plot and dialogue lag through

8-8.9- Very good drama, I'm inclined to recommending it to other people.

A lot of dramas end up falling in this category. They've pressed all the right buttons and even go a little above and beyond, providing material that's different from the status-quo. But it is still not revolutionary. Character choices may lag, the ending may feel rush, dialogue may not make sense or may not fit a character, there's always SOMETHING that stops it from being anywhere above a 9.

9-9.9- Could be the best drama of all time. My life has been significantly altered due to its existence. I'm living day by day thankful that the director brought all the actors screenwriters and investors together to fully conceptualise this complete and utter work of art. Nothing comes close.

My definition of greatness is relative to me. It might not have the greatest plot, it makes up in a different aspect that allows it to rest above a 8.9. Things above an 9 are rare.

(Sometimes, they're guilty pleasures so when I say greatness is relative to me, I MEAN IT)

10- The angels of heaven sang directly into the ears of all that was part of the production. It is humanely impossible that this piece of media was even created.

My idea of 10 is subjective to me. But understand this. If put into a state where I forgot the hundreds of hours of dramas I watched, these dramas would be enough for me to live again after sustaining such a traumatic brain injury.
