Well said. He’s a great actor. But, you know he’s married with a beautiful son and wife. He allegedly got married in his late 20s. So, perhaps his marriage is more of a respect factor for him. There are hardly any young male actors in China or Taiwan or Hong Kong that are married. He’s an exception to the norm and standards of being a male actor and married with family so young. If you research some of his past interviews he speaks on this. Allen is a very talented actor. All he wants to do is a good job working and take care of his family with solid respect. IMO, there is only one actress he really worked with and the chemistry for the role were there and that’s Seven, the Chinese actress.

Hopefully, get more non historical dramas with less heavy makeup and historical costumes. He did that for years. It was getting boring, but he looked good in those historical clothes.😊

Male actors in any film industry are allegedly treated better than the female actresses. She’s never had a main lead, she’s been support or guest. Many her age do not care as long as they are compensated for their craft to take care of their families. The mother from Something in the Rain, she falls into this category as well. She’s always the mother of the main leads as supporting actress.

Very well said. There is nothing left to say on this topic. Allegedly, there are 2 more actresses that crossed over because of simular similarities by acquaintances with him. This is about control, money, power and disrespect of women in that industry.

At present, it appears the streaming service is not interested. She’s not the problem, but am sure you know that. Such a sad situation for her and others. If they had just started filming ML could have been replaced, but believe the filming was completed and was awaiting a release date. In SK Arts and Entertainment, actors and actresses over 50, especially the females actresses only are cast for the roles she’s just gotten. Some her age do not get any casting if so, the roles are small. Never will they get lead roles. It’s all about marketing and money, allegedly as they promote their projects. It’s hard for over 50 to cast lead roles or work often.

With this casting, there has to be some great sword fighting scenes. Jung Hyuk is the best swordsman in dramas in the industry in SK. That’s my take.

Indeed, very surreal. All Koreans that can afford surgery, the first thing done is eye lid and nose and jawline. Having said that, it changes their facial for about 25 years, with consistent enhancements, then age sets in on the surgery. It’s a never ending cycle to try and look younger in their country for their careers.

She’s Korean, and all the celebrities in Korea allegedly have had facial enhancements. It’s part of their DNA. Korea basically wrote the book on skin care, and plastic surgery. For instance, the men celebrities have extensive facial enhancements. Do they admit it? Why should she? A person or fan is only misled by their own fantasy. This actress is married with 2 or 3 children, and to attain a family life and a career at her age speaks volume. You think Kim Bo Young or her husband, Ji Sung have not had plastic surgery? They are definitely around her age, mid to late 40’s. It’s truly a blessing in Korea to be snagging lead roles in your mid 40’s let alone late 40’s.
