Interesting movie, reminded me of another one - Insanity, director: Kwong-yiu Lee .
I think that the movie is a good one for that time period, If I'm not wrong, movies like Mad detective were a general trend at that moment.
Now, this movie could be better, in a way, it's about choices, the MC choosed in a way which was bordering insanity. The starting point explains the end, it's a jumping of choices done by the MC as, at shart, he's forshadowing the end, the end which is explained somehwere at the female's ,,fight".
To sum up, in my opinion, this movie is about choosing to trust yourself and others, as the MC said: it's about emotions and ration, which one would you choose, to trust your feelings and those of others or to make rational choices?
