I think the story is very interesting. The case and mediation the judge has to make. It's diff from other court drama. There is no villain, it is like a slice of life drama.. and all the chars are likeable.. And yes, some small gesture of LLH is there haha.. feel nostalgic haha..

Hahaha.. no, he is fine there. He also got happy ending and a girlfriend.

I just finished his modern drama draw the line, that drama also using his own voice.. sometimes I feel like LLH is talking lol..

I tried SOMD.. I just can't go on because of the 2nd ml mumbling voice... also I don't like the cute lady in red plot w the ML storyline.

It's esp focus on friendship and has past romance.

So this drama is not your taste, just move on then. Many ppl like me still can't move on from this drama and you can't say it overrated just because it's not your cup of tea. Also i had watched all of the cdrama you mentioned above. Also fyi, i can't go through from 1st ep of hometown chachacha but it never bother me to even think about that drama... just too slow for me and I don't like modern romance much esp rom com, so I move on.

I'm almost finished this drama. I'm at ep. 32. Although I started watching this because of Cheng Yi but the drama is really engaging, all the characters are good. CY doesn't have a lot of screne times since he is not the main ML but it's okay since the story is interesting.. and I like his character as well. His struggle as a judge, his team, his shifu, friendship.. everything is good...

BUT...

Who is the stylist of this drama? I have to complain! CY haircut is really bad! 😬😅.. Don't need to make him look super handsome or anything but please dont chop his hair like that lol. Everytime i saw his hair, my heart is secretly complaining... 😪

Now we need for mdl rate to increase 9.1 hehe..

Yes, the ending opens for more possibilities.. I kind of like it and it is rare for me to like a cliff hanger as an ending. But with this open ending, if one day the decide to male season 2 it is not impossible. But...
It is very unlikely to happen... also this open ending leads to a lot of fanfic as well hehe..
