To be fair, the problems i saw seems more like direction related, strange that 2 hyped stars chose to act this, not to mention the big support cast... it was definitely a story with big potential, all characters were charismatics and this is undeniable.

First, i didn't say the script was good, but how it was lower than expected by a job choose by 2 hyped stars. And second, the problems i saw in the show were not history related, but with literally how the story was told, and how somethings were sometimes rushed, sometimes slower than needed, and others just didn't appear.

I believe a lot of content was cutted by the director. I'm pretty sure that IU having so many worls to choose, would waste time after reading a script like this one. Only thing I can think is the director screwing up the original script. For me is a 6, but i totally understand and respect your 2 stars.

Same writer. The only drama that made Our Beloved Summer get out of my top 1... only Lee Na Eun can overthrone herself.

For those who think the script is the problem. I bet it was good, do you think IU and BWS (which are one of the most hyped actors in the last years, so they can choose what to work) would choose a script with the content we got? I BET THE DIRECTOR DID SCREW UP and not the script.

Incredibly Overrated.

I can't tell if the problem is in the script or the direction, cause...
In one hand sometimes we have a content taking 2 episodes when half of a episode would've done the job (without rushing).
In the other hand, we get cut off from LOT of things.

Not gonna lie, but i am very disappointed since the foundation were very good to build a S-Tier k-drama. In the end we got a B-.

Finally a k-drama that don't need to make a secret to "make you comeback". Seems the focus will be romance and comedy, with little focus on drama, like business proposal or divorce insurance.

yeah, this is why i'm not rising my hopes. So if a drama starts good I don't expect to stay good.

I think the only ones i can recommend are: positively yours, can this love be translated, last summer and love me. From the past 6 months those have focused direction and good story.

I don't know if its because in the last 12 months 80% of k-drama were trash, but now i trust 0% in any release.
All k-drama that were released in this time got 12 episodes, incredibly rushed and with poor development, not to mention the bad direction which didn't decide to what path to follow (dynamite kiss, would you marry me, and lot of others). They all start with 2 good episodes and get trash (probably because of the direction), and i hope this is not the same.

I beg you, please keep bringing chill-guy male leads and the hard/iron-woman female leads. The fact that you don't need a "villain" to make us watch the couple's success is also amazing. Your slice of life romance are GOAT. Our Beloved Summer was my top 1 until you dethroned it with Melomovie. I can't wait for you make Melomovie be dethroned by another one of your masterpieces ❤️❤️❤️❤️

- abandon trauma
- old couple getting together again
- work getting them together again
- forced break up
- parents lost
- no villain plot, only a chill and beautiful romance

where can i watch ep 7? Didn't release on viki up until now
