Pi O only longs for his grandfather’s approval, while his grandfather seems to resent him simply because his daughter’s career as a ballerina was ruined after having Pi O. What kind of reasoning is that? The writers should’ve come up with a more compelling and believable backstory for why Pi O has been receiving such a cold shoulder. As it stands, the grandfather’s resentment feels forced.
The kid has had to carry all of this emotional baggage just so he and his mom could have a place in that family. And honestly, that toxic mom isn’t blameless either. If her father was really the problem, she should’ve just left him instead of making her child suffer through the consequences of their strained relationship.
But then again, grandad looks effing rich, so I guess leaving the comfort and privilege must’ve been difficult. I fully get it—better to cry and suffer in style, right? 😂
Finally, a drama where I’m a fan of both the ML and FL. I’ve been struggling to find a new drama lately because, even though I like the ML, I often find the FL annoying.
Now, we only need a good storyline. Xu Kai x Zhou Ye
Has it really been 10 years since this show started? Yet I still keep coming back whenever I need a good laugh. This series never fails to make me smile.
Can’t help but accept the fact that a new season will probably never see the light of day. Still, it was one hell of a fun ride while it lasted. ❤️
I’m an ultimate Jing Bo Ran fan, but for some reason, I just can’t bring myself to start this series. 😂 Is it because of all the hype? Maybe it’s because I’m not really a fan of Sun Qian? 🤔

I had to make sure it wasn’t BL before I started it. 😂 I’ve got nothing against all the colors of the rainbow, it’s just not my thing. The first two eps were good though! Go watch it!
If for some reason they shift this one into BL then it's a goodbye. Boys can be brothers and friends, too. Not everyone wants to be romantically involved with each other.
