BL is subjective. I see many many people here saying that the writers dropped the ball and got lazy for the last episode, but the last episode is the one that really brought it all together for me. I was getting so bored And almost didn't watch the final episode! I love how all the loose ends tied themselves up in ep 8. Final note...I thought the straps routine was so beautiful.
Pretty sure they filmed a movie first and then cut it up. That's a going trend in kbl these days.
maybe they get more advertising money that way. I don't know how it goes there but these 15-minute shows probably wind up being 30 to 40 minute shows with frequent advertising commercials. those of us that just stream with services don't have to deal with commercials. at any rate, sometimes they will combine it and make it a movie. once it's all said and done and I hope they do that it would make the flow better. something that I greatly enjoy is they don't seem to do a whole lot of product placement in this particular show so it doesn't waste time.
They're 15 min episodes. This has potential to be incredibly adorable but these short episodes have people impatient and ready to give up when in actuality the first 4 episodes should have been combined into 1 episode etc. Or forget the episodes all together and just make it a movie. That would lessen viewer impatience and disappointment. As for me it's a cute fluffy show. It had what looks like a slow start because the episodes are so darn short. I particularly love the Vet room mate. His style and swagger is π. I'm actually looking forward to the rest of this.
Microphone appears again in episode 9. Ma Ru and Min Woo had an awesome kiss! But they need to teach Kim An and…
I screamed with laughter Every time I seen it. I've watched this series on Vicky and I had the comments turned on and everything that the translators were saying was hilarious
low-key disappointing to see my favorite of the three have a dead lip cold fish kiss but overall it was good,…
As far as I'm concerned, they can just skip the kiss all together if they're going to give us those embarrassing dead kisses! However the chemistry was pretty good. Everything else made up for it. the scene in episode 9 was πππ€
nearly the entire cast was eye candy and there was a lot of laugh out loud moments. I found the acting to be incredible, despite what a lot of people have said. here the problem was there wasn't enough time to develop the story and really dig into the childhood friendship. I seriously wanted more from the second male couple.. That is. I wanted them to be a couple . I definitely could have used more screen time with them and less Work discussions, meetings and work relationships. I didn't dislike the work environment and the scenes that were held there. it's just that there wasn't enough room to flesh out the rest of the story because of it. maybe hour-long episodes or 12 episodes would have helped. I went and followed Simon's character on Instagram. super good looking guy. great actor. Director Jun is a 10 out of 10 when It comes to getting his point across with his eyes.
They played the characters according to the novels so well. Brick/Itt's fascination with cake and sweets and spoiled brat was just fantastic. I hated the wig. I need to Google why he wore that unattractive wig. Days character was done well too... the slow progression from captor to husband. I had not read the novels before watching this the first time and not only was I lost, but I also hated it. Now after reading the novels I fully get it.
This is the best review I've ever seen on this platform. Your review was so informative that I now am on a quest to find the author Priests novels. Hopefully translated to English. thank you. I look forward to this drama.
agreed! I haven't seen a BL show that blew my mind like this in a very long time. it was so...mature. I tried watching "the sign" after this and am struggling because it's just so inept compared to this writing.
I particularly love the Vet room mate. His style and swagger is π. I'm actually looking forward to the rest of this.
thank you. I look forward to this drama.
