I recently saw Wang Hai Min in all three seasons of https://mydramalist.com/806412-zao-gao-he-jie-jie-zou-cuo-le and wanted to see some of her other dramas. This one was really not worth the time IMO. It throws together soooo many cliches, but the killing nail was I didn't feel the romance with the MC. And some of the kisses were fake and others lackluster. (The horror.)
The story is a mishmash of several plots rolled into one:
overweight FL who is drugged and has one night stand
surprise! pregnant w/twins
comes back in 5 years to find missing twin
she's a famous doctor
and, she's not slim and beautiful.
If you've watch a lot of verticals, you can fill in the rest of the story, lol.
I took the cliff dive on this one since there was no synopsis. True, I've seen worse, lol.

Were we separated at birth? LOL! I own it. I love a steamy kiss scene. Heck, I'll even take a good kiss scene, lol. I hate when I watch an actor who can kiss like fire and there are no kisses or just pressed lip kisses in one of his verticals. Such a tragedy.

Hou Cheng Yue has an infectious smile in this one. Her whole face lights up.

So true! New regulations about 2 years ago are the reason you see so many differences now. For example: Putting more grandparents in a favorable light instead of the evil(ish) characters almost always seen before. There are still those evil characters, but not nearly like before. And more positive messages about women overcoming abusive relationships whether family or boyfriend/husband, etc. Also, they toned down a lot of intimate scenes. While I enjoy a good story with the longer C-dramas, I enjoy the verticals because I often get more payout on the romance faster, lol.
If you haven't watched https://mydramalist.com/803118-yu-wen-sang-zhi you might want to check it for steamy kisses. Jin Jia Yu can kiss like FIRE! My rewind button got stuck, lol!

Is anyone else distracted by the FL's fingernails? :) I think she has the most elaborate decorations on nails I've seen in dramas. Except for some K-drama I watched that featured a nail salon and competitions. That was pretty cool.

Wow. this was so very good. all three seasons grew on me. I ended up rating overall a 10 for all three although slightly lower per each one simply because of the overall feeling it left me with. Was it perfect? Of course not. It's still a vertical, lol. I probably took off the most points for the voice used for the younger sister than anything. But, I still loved how they all grew and all the glimpses into how they came to be and how we put undue expectations on ourselves and those we love. totally worth the 9hours and 28 minutes. :)

In many ways this one is stupidly funny. I really liked how the FL hid her identity and all the antics of both leads in hiding from one another. She could be such a green tea! And he just stood back observing. Cat and mouse both ways. Funny how her gang “misinterpreted” things and how they responded. Her redheaded gang leader was clueless but still defending her leader, lol. Liked how her brothers were on board to protect her. Liked the plot reveal at the end where the grandparents knew about her at first meeting and ML had already figured it out as well but just played along w/her. The only complaint I would have is that there is really no chemistry w/leads and there were NO kisses. HE w/MC married and holding a wedding where everyone gets reveals who hadn't already been revealed. Cute and fun watch overall.

LOL! I was downright SHOCKED by it! Not often I get blindsided by a vertical since I've seen sooooo many. That's why I put major spoilers sometimes in case it helps anyone who wants to avoid being blindsided.

I gave it a 7 for the FL's strength of character and for her consistency towards the ML. At least Gao Ming wasn't a complete scumbag in this one. I liked watching Liang Si Wei in one of his earlier works even though he has a small support role here he rocked it. Liked ML's grandfather and how much he loved the FL. Wish there had been romance between the leads as I don't think this should really be labeled a romance because they were never really together. Liked the end. FYI- no kisses that I remember. that's a pure sin, lol.

Interesting. How did you rate it? Any decent kisses? I prefer a HE with a little more happy than just last second. I also enjoy a decent journey. Do you think the 2 plus hours are worth spending on this compared to others you have watched? Thanks for sharing.

I watched because I was on a Wang Nan download spree. I loved this FL character and how Bai Xue Ru made her shine! I loved how crazy insane she got at times. Her transformation was so much fun to watch. I liked how Wang Nan pursued her while bemoaning his encounter with her original persona. Pretty much wanted her mom and brother to pay for exploiting her and found them exceedingly hateful. The MC's romance was kinda sweet if subdued. I don't think there was a kiss at all unless it was edited out. Wish there had been some kissing scenes, lol. I still liked it a lot.

Chen Si was fire. Lu Lu was fire. They were fire together.

I never really understood why she was a “fool” except for a reference to a car accident which could have been when her parents die. Also don't know how long ago that was supposed to be but maybe three years based on statement later. Also, why is he asking for a divorce? Did he not care for her growing up? Forced by his grandmother, I think. Couldn't he have sought additional treatment for her condition? At least his brother was on her side insisting they shouldn't divorce. Romance was more subdued to me. Chemistry was good. A few good kisses and the morning after when she tried to use her fox demon powers to get him to forget? Pretty funny. HE w/FL and 2ML restored to pre-fool era, lol and MC kissing to add a baby to the family.

I went into this one blind because I was on a Chen Rui Feng download spree, lol. Love his height and being a danseur makes him ever so graceful.

Story: FL and ML are married but he wants a divorce because she is a "fool" having had some brain trauma that makes her seem like a child. The 2ml, who is the ml's brother, is a bit childlike himself and doesn't think his brother should abandon the FL who he views as a sister. Both the FL and 2Ml love watching C-dramas and are currently watching a historical fantasy one about a fox demon betrayed by a scumbag hunter. There's a scuffle and head injuries to both the FL and 2ML who end up believing themselves to be the characters from the drama they were watching. Thus, the antics begin on outwitting each other, the ML and the other humans.

It was a fun and different watch from the usual short vertical dramas with some plot twists and sweet romance with decent flirting and chemistry. Yes, there are always the cliche' components because it's still a vertical, like the evil aunt and cousin who want her assets and the sweet grandmother who wants her great-grandson.
