Ok. There were some steamy kisses, but I didn't feel bunches of chemistry. I really hated the drawn-out ordeal of misunderstanding of who was engaged to whom. Like, can't you ask the name of your fiancée? I'm thinking I'd want to know that up front, lol. And why does it always take 5, 6, 8 years after a breakup to decide to get back together? I'd be like, we're going to settle this mess right now. Somebody's getting a frying pan upside their head. And what's the deal with going along with being bullied into drinking or taking off your clothes? Girl. Just. Say. No. It became tedious. It was funny how the ML's mom was so shocked when she found out the girl she had abused was the daughter-in-law she so desperately wanted. Anyway. HE w/MC reunited but it didn't look like he ever really explained she had been duped into believing she slept with all those other guys. Like, he should have told her that a long time ago and not waited.

Got to rant some on this one. Yes, some steamy kisses, but a lot of it was tedious.

Yes! First time I think I have watched that particular plot twist. I've watched soooo many, sometimes it's nice for a bit of change up and other times I don't want them changing up a version too much. As long as I get steamy kisses, lol!

Watched for Ye Yi Chen because I wanted to see what he could do in other dramas. It was ok. The whole Jie Jie vibe w/hidden identity. A few kisses, chemistry was meh. 2Ml was scum. FL blamed ml for tricking her into a room where an old guy was waiting for her when he was 10 and she 16, but it was the mom who tricked ml into doing it. HE w/ml waking up after rescuing the FL and being shot after he stabbed himself. FL realized she had forgiven him for the lies and loved him. They kiss at the end. (2ml gets whacked after his mistress runs off with all the company funds.) Karma, baby.

I was asking myself why I watched this by ¾ in. Oh, yeah. Wanted to see dramas w/this ML, Liu Zi Heng. So, it's a rehash like so many verticals. It was ok until the 5 year gap. Like, why?? Ok, so the ML was behind the scenes helping her, but didn't go to see her or the kid in 5 freaking years?? Kinda killed it for me. Then, the grandfather keeps the scum “grandson” around for those 5 years knowing he's not blood related and he had falsified the dna test? Chemistry was meh and kisses lukewarm. But, HE w/grandfather onboard w/FL and great-grandson now. Ha!

So, I watched because I wanted to see more dramas with Liu Zi Heng. Can't say I loved it. Kinda wish I hadn't watched it, lol.

Ok. Finished and I think I like it a bit better than the Wang Xuan version.

Cute but super naive FL played well by CMY. No real chemistry, more a big brother/protector vibe w/MC. FL's family was trash as per plot. 2FL was mean and vindictive to FL even having her real parents abuse the FL while in the country. Interesting twist that his own grandmother wanted him dead. Never explained why on that and a few other things. Hence the lower rating from me and the fact there were no real kisses in this. HE w/MC sitting on swing after karma for 2FL.

Wow. Really enjoyed the intense chemistry of these two. First time watching Ma Xiao Yu be so submissive to a FL, lol. They made the right call having Hu Yuan Jun play this forceful avenging FL. It probably helps that she is older and has had more acting experience. I would have liked to have had more kissing scenes as the ones they shared were quite steamy. Having watched so many of these, it was obvious to me who the villain was early on. Liked how it all played out. Except for how he had the photo that would have cleared her. Not sure how that came about and how she forgave him. Pretty weird but intense scene where she has him lick her. Liked how they protected each other. HE w/FL in charge and ML following like a puppy

Approval staff is WAY behind on approving submissions. And, there is now a 20 drama submission limit. So until a drama is approved you submitted, you can't submit more. They are literally months behind. :(

This was the first time watching these two for me. I liked The Imprisoned Flower somewhat better than this version. Both characters were wrong in what they did to each other. Zhang Hao Yang did a pretty good job as crazy, psycho, obsessive, jealous ML. I think I liked the resolution on this version better than the other. It was definitely softer and not as dark, to me.

Can't say I was crazy about it. Not really a romance per se, more just the FL using her modern knowledge and access to modern weapons, drugs to win the day. I watched for ML, but even he couldn't save this for me. OK, so the premise was fine, but guess this one just wasn't my cuppa. I don't even think there was a kiss that I can remember. And that just makes me sad...

If you haven't watched Wang Pei Yan in "Her New Crush 2025" or "Miao Fei Zai Shang 2025", you should definitely check those out. He shines!!

shirtless Cao Tian Kai is always a plus. Nice chemistry and a few steamy kisses. Loved how they climbed each other during their fight, lol. Loved the ending as well.
