I really enjoyed this sweet romance with mental/emotional healing.

One of the things I like about Zhang Shan is that she doesn't shy away from intense kiss scenes. She gives it all whenever the script allows it. Of course, she's smart. Why pass up the opportunity to kiss some really hot co-stars? She's laughing all the way to the bank! Just watching https://mydramalist.com/788236-beyond-the-flame now and she and Zhao Guan Yu are burning up my laptop, lol.

WTH. Wah wah he had a bad life so we commits to killing an innocent girl and HIS OWN CHILD. Pretty much hate him. One of the few times I did not want the fl to go back to the ml after everything he did to her. He did not change and didn't try for redemption. He rapes her the first night of their forced marriage and again 6 years later when he finds her again. Open end w/fl going off to further her education/research and ml telling her he will wait. Like, what for? Dude, you killed her kid.

OMG. I watched for Cheng Cheng. I am soooo disappointed. I don't care if it may be seen as him expanding his roles. This role was for a scumbag character.

About 20 minutes cut so it seems choppy at times. Chemistry was ok. I've seen Shen Hao Nan smoke the screen much more than he did here, but he still had some sizzle and tension w/ A Shang

Nice how they each came to protect the other and their partnership grew into supportive love. Liked that FL and ML were smart and didn't walk into any traps totally blind. Yes, some plot holes and gaps, but that's a short drama for you. Liked the way ml was smitten w/fl first and willing to let her flip the table. Liked how the FL no longer let others morally blackmail her. Liked that the villains received some karma. HE for MC. A few ok kisses which was a bit of a disappointment because LMR can really kiss like fire when given the chance.

the video I watched was only 1:37 long, so lots had been cut. I watched for Xie Yu Wang. It was pretty bad even before so much was cut. The synopsis doesn't make much sense and didn't really fit the video I watched. The ML spends a lot of love/hate and torture on the FL. It's mostly centered around misunderstandings set in motion by the evil 2fl. Save your time...
