having watched so many verticals, I was put off by the sad romance tag and had hesitated to watch but i really like Wang Yi Lei. IMO, it's not really a sad romance. so, don't let that deter you.

It was stupid funny and had a few laugh til I cried scenes, like the little well and balloons. Loved the perky FL and her whole face lights up when she smiles. Liked how the ml ran from her until he didn't. Sorta lacklustre last third and wish the end had a stronger finish. HE w/fl sneaking back and forth between heaven and earth to see ml and their daughter. God of lightening looked good, lol and kept sending lightening to punish ml for being w/immortal FL. Liked his grandmother. Villains got karma. Wish kisses had been better. Chemistry more sweet than intense.

on a Wang Qian Hui kick but also like Chen Zheng Yang. I really liked most of it and rated higher because it was mostly a feel-good drama. I liked the FL's attitude when she walked away from her scum ex and that same positive attitude towards the ML. Loved his parents. wish there had been better and more kisses. Liked the smack down those who humiliated her received. Loved the playfulness of the MC. They made me smile. Not a huge fan of the end but still ok.

Tigger warning, both are drugged at the beginning and, even though there's part of the scene where she's kissing him back, she passes out but he continues to assault her.

I watched because I'm on a Wang Qian Hui viewing spree. Really liked her kick arse character here. Several cute moments among the craziness. Combination plot of several troupes. Best kisses at the beginning.

Watched for Zhuo Hang. Liked seeing Wang Qian Hui even though her character was irritating at times. This one never explained why the ml really picked the fl. If he really cared for her for 5 years, he should have told her instead of letting her think she was a substitute for bitch #2. NO, he waits until the very end to let her know after she had already given up on him. I liked his mom, but why did it take her 5 years to recognize the fl? And why did the assistant tell her that she had her “good fortune” because of her face and show her a picture of herself? She didn't look like the 2fl who she thought was the ml's love. That all got old. Had some steamy kisses and a good bit of tension. HE w/fl finding out the ml loved her and was getting medicine for her mom and fl crashed the “wedding” of ml and 2fl.

Lower rating for me because it was irritating. (big surprise for a vertical, right?) Watched for Zhuo Hang. Some steamy kisses and decent tension.

Ye Hao Ran can smoke kisses. Sadly, I can't recall a single kiss in this drama. IMO, he's more like a support role in this one. :(

I watched for Yao Guan Yu. Mostly watched at 1.5 speed as it was a bit boring at times. Same old subplots about abusive family for fl's sister and she had to marry to get out of inlaw's house. ML is in love w/nominal sister who has been forced abroad by ml's grandfather. So naturally she's a scheming bitch. YGY can smoke some kisses but sadly that's not the case here. I got sick of the fl just accepting whatever people told her bad about ml instead of checking it out. Mostly that happened after she found out he had lied to her. Even if she didn't believe him, she should have been smart enough to challenge what others told her. Her sister was a bad example as well for staying with an abuser. HE for sister w/divorce, 2fl and 2ml served justice, and MC having a wedding.

I watched for YGY. Kinda disappointed overall.

45:48 Wang Nan makes an adorable funny face for their selfie. Never seen him do that before. super cute!! I may have to save this one just to watch that face again. He looks like he's having fun making this drama.
Just finished. I pretty much loved it. Wang Nan and Peng Dai Dai had a great dynamic going on. It looked like they both enjoyed working together on this drama. Loved his grandmother.

On the surface, the best part was Liu Lan Bo. Underneath, there's a fair bit of mental/emotional issues that the leads had. I liked that ML flat out told her he was the one who got his brother to take her in when her dad was killed once he knew the fl “loved” the 2ml because of him bringing her into the family. I liked that the FL stood up more for herself once she was free of the 2ml and had the support of the ML. I didn't really understand why the fl's mom took off to go back to her rich family if her sister married the arranged groom years ago. That didn't make sense because she could have come back and immediately found her daughter. But, she went 6 years knowing where she was and not recognizing her daughter. So the best friend is actually her cousin by blood. 2Ml was delusional. He goes from wanting to get rid of FL right after her dad dies to deciding he saved her and she would be his. This after he had allowed and participated in her humiliation and smudged reputation. A few steamy kisses and shirtless LLB made this better for me. HE w/mc together, she in wedding dress in front of the ml's comrade who was killed on mission.

I appreciate your postings. They certainly help me. :) MDL is so far behind approving vertical dramas submitted that I have also become frustrated by the time lag. I have a list of dramas not yet on MDL that I might, one day, be able to get approved. I'm not sure why they started backing off approving vertical dramas. The lack of new postings has just about put Jwells out of work, lol! So thankful for her as well!
