oh, I didn’t see any articles (except one here in mdl a while back) or posts about this drama before, so thank you for sharing.

I cannot stress this enough, but I hope that the drama will be centered around the relationship between two main male leads (and as rival pianists), so the “four hands” piece in the title refers to them playing together, and NOT to one of the guys and the girl… if this is going to be another love-triangle mishmash bullshit, cheap looking romcom I am going to be so very disappointed.

No it’s not, but still it’s a step most couples take after some time (or they drift apart, like in this case). And even if not marriage, another way of “bringing the relationship to the next level” usually happens, like living with each other, and/or starting a family (although I suppose starting a family seriously, without marriage, would be taboo for Korean celebs, even today), etc. Something that deepens the relationship, two people grow together, instead of the relationship stalling.

I think it’s more of a cultural custom though? In SK, once you date someone it’s kind of a rule to follow them, post them and tag them (I heard from multiple people/sources), so if you break up with someone you’d naturally unfollow them to signify that you’re no longer in a romantic relationship with that person, even if you’re on good terms. Kind of a no biggie situation…

This is sad to hear.
But also, if you date that long, and you’re not growing together and the relationship doesn’t deepen but instead it stalls and/or you start to grow apart after a long time together, it is wiser to break up on good terms than to try and save it with hasty marriage or something. I hope both of them will be happy and finds a good partner (if they do desire)

Can you watch it without watching Stranger (the 2 season drama that this one is a spin off of, and the main character appears in it)??

Lee Soo Hyuk, always the grim reaper 😭😅 but he does have that kind of supernatural aura to play such characters ❤️

I haven’t seen the original, so I don’t know hot to feel or what to think about the storyline/movie itself; but both actors are very talented and looks good with each other, if they end up getting casted, they sure are going to deliver a good and emotional performance.

I mainly asked, because as much as I plan on watching this series, it's probably not going to be soon and I wanted to save it to some of my lists, I have a list with dramas taking place in 2000s-90s and earlier (after 1900, vintage to retro, to Y2K I guess) so that's why I wanted to know ahead of watching haha

Is this happening like, earlier in the 90s or 2000s? I’m asking because the characters are kind of styled that way, but I haven’t actually seen the show yet.

So it’s not like, two souls–one body situation, but the soul of the older guy gets transported to the soccer player’s body, and he lives in it (while the player’s souls is off somewhere or dies)? So Lee Jun Young will play the soccer player only at the beginning, and then he’ll play the old CEO but in the young guy’s (his) body?
