From the script reading he seems to have a lot of speaking parts. I agree with what you say, at the same time I hope there will be some sign language present too.

I agree, but I also think itâs that this type of hairstyle and hair color just looks the best on her (and much better than any other one, I suppose) thatâs why it is mostly maintained the same (she also has unique eye-color, and this every-shade-of-brown type of hairstyle really fits it).
Maybe, that because non of the characters she portrayed so far called specifically for a very unique look, or certain specific aesthetic (as she played in real-life based dramas, mostly romance, so usually no need for any special effects makeup etc. and the setting wasnât anything special either), so they just simply go for something that looks best on her (so that she may appear as good-looking as possible on screen, I guess, as looks are important in SK).
The last time I remembered her with a very different style was in Weightlifting Fairy, she had short and brighter (light orange-brown) hair (a bob?) and almost-mini bangs, which truly was a rather long time ago.
Although to be fair, her looks change slightly between every drama [she didnât have bangs in Cheese in Trap - her character also has a bit more unique aesthetic there; she had the longest bangs in Miss & Mrs Cops; her hair was brighter and her fringe way thinner in Dr. Romantic 2; her hair was noticeably darker brown in Call it Love (than here, since you brought it up) and in Dr. Romantic 3; then in The Nice Guy she didnât have bangs at all too, and her hair was more ashy-brown; in this drama here she seems to be again in her most popular style with thicker bangs and warm-brown hair etc.], although those arenât big and easily noticeable changes, which makes all her characters appear to look basically the same, so I understand the complaint.
Personally I donât have much issues with this. I feel like every character of hers is different enough for me to enjoy, even if they look similar. I also didnât really watch any of her dramas closely back-to-back, so I donât think there ever was a time for me for this to become an issue. But I get that it might seem as âlow-effortâ or be annoying and boring for some people.
Though, Itâd be interesting to see her in a completely different aesthetic and acting in a different setting (maybe some survival/action type of drama/movie?).

No problem! I quite enjoyed him in Wedding Impossible (though that drama had some, hm interesting to say the least, things going onâŠ), I will probably tune into this one because the concept is rather unique.
I know that FL first chose the Yang guy for plot reasons, but it would have been such a good scene if she was supposed to chose, and the ML would be standing off to the side, as he isnât one of the official choices, and she would go past every other guy and approach him with the jade pedant. Like a scandalous/public proposal in front of everyone. That would have been so good⊠But o donât dislike the way the plot went instead.
So far, all that rivalry and jealousy and problems in the family seem to be mostly caused by the Old Madam Ringâs lack of parenting and management skills. Her bitterness sips out of herâŠ
Nah⊠Why did they make Song Yi Fan another small-time-villain?? I was hoping for some interesting, scandalous affair side-plot (with both parties being relatively âgoodâ and unrelated to the main conflict/having their own storylines) but of course, he had to be somehow attached to the main conflict/plot..! I think like, He Xing Ming was a cruel and calculating person, with little to no remorse. But from what is seen in the flashbacks, and from his present interactions with Rong Shan Bao, I get why he got the impression that she has the same character as him (and thatâs why he acted like he did, didnât hide his nature more, gave her the whip with a suggestion to punish people with it etc.) and wanted to use it to his advantage, show her that theyâre similar now. However he has misjudged her motives and misunderstood her character.
Honestly, I like He Xing Ming, not as a person, but as a character in the drama â from a technical point of view, he is interesting and I was entertained.
What is the name of the Lady serving in the Rong Household that Song Yi Fang (one of the young guys that came for the engagement competition but stayed for other reasons) is hooking up with?
