It’s still above 5 so it’s not that bad šŸ˜…
Oh, well, I’m not informed when it comes to ratings. I don’t really rate anything here because I’m too indecisive. But still, if 7 is bad then something closer to 5 would be even worse, so it’s good that it’s not it..?

Well, there is a serious lack of dialogue in the relationship. It's like they are obsessed with doing what each…
Oh, surely. But when I thought about it, if I were him I’d probably feel fed up with his wife too. I don’t think that pulling the divorce move at that moment was a good decision and
I feel like he is wrongly blaming her so for the accident, but some of his other frustrations I kinda understand.

By the way, they really should just talk calmly and honestly with each other (I know how hard that is sometimes). All would have been better, if they did.
He doesn’t want to try and understand her, and that’s why they keep arguing.
She thinks that she understands everything, because of that she’s doesn’t realize that she might have a wrong approach towards certain things, and that’s why there are conflicts.
Such a mess…

When it comes to his career, yeah I agree that he’s a mess. And he’s blaming her for too long for what happened…
He isn’t a good husband, but she isn’t being that good of a wife either. She’s deciding about everything on her own, and taking action without discussing anything with him (she’s probably just feeling responsible for everything and trying to deal with it efficiently but this feelings actually drove her to doing irresponsible things, and she’s not realizing that they should cooperate more + because of that she’s putting too much onto herself, it only stresses her out instead of making her feel and look like she has the situation under control, which was the effect she wanted to achieve).

She seems to categorically not know how to deal with her son’s disability (I feel like she still struggles to accept it, so she treats him as if he really struggled with that too (it was probably really hard for him at the beginning, an accident and a drastic change in his life + seeing how his family is connected to music), while he’s at least partially moved on and just trying to manage life as best as he can, with only issues being the recent bullying at school and his parents arguing so much - solutions of these problems are out of his control regardless of his disability) and she thinks that the best thing to do is to simply orchestrate the boy's entire life as if he were incapable.
(you see, it isn't a good way of thinking, is it?)

She also tried to bribe/pay his classmate with real money (it wasn’t an official deal and with a unreasonably big amount of money at that) to assist her son, which was irresponsible and inappropriate thing to do as an adult.

The father is at least less controlling towards their son and seems to try more to listen to what he has to say (the mother literally just shuts him up in one scene, it was a pretty sweet conversation and I don’t think that her intentions are bad but the outcome might be not good).

Badmouthing your partner in front of your child is bad, I completely agree with you on that. And that spontaneous escapade, to sleep somewhere else for the night as a form of protest/showing anger was a pretty stupid, irresponsible idea but I can’t say that I haven’t seen something like that in real life, and I don’t find it overly bad/outrageous.

The parents main problem is lack of communication in their relationship/family, misplaced anger and unresolved guilt.
They’re both full of flaws, I hope that they’ll get a decent character development (but I’m a bit worried if it’ll happen, we only have 10 episodes left and so many other plots).

Sorry, that this reply is so long. I didn't think that it'd be this long, when I was writing.

That’s true. But even though he’s problematic, at the moment I feel like he’s being a little better parent for their kid, he’s less controlling.

Some people don't like the husbands character šŸ˜‚
I’m actually a little surprised, I thought more people would not like the wife.

Koreans have gotten used to creating 16-episode dramas and letting viewers enjoy a lot of "nothing" for about…
I agree!! It makes me glad that there are people watching this drama who have similar thoughts on that matter.

Don't know about Y'all but I absolutely Love the female lead's characterization. Gosh idk but I'm immensely attracted…
I totally understand. I don’t think that she’s a bad person, but she’s definitely flawed and not doing very good right now. She’s real.
But I cannot like her, I think I feel too violated by her behavior at times (in the name of the characters on the receiving end) to like her. But that’s just what happens when you get immersed in a drama, I guess. I get really involved with the characters. šŸ˜‚

It’s bound to happen, the rating will be changing as more and more episodes are being released

He is not her ex. He is just a delusional guy who was infatuated by her and assumed that fl likes him and wants…
Oh I feel it too! His reasons and behavior make him like a comedic character, a caricature of certain behavior. But the rest of the drama is set in a much more serious tone , the situations are more dramatic and dealing with more real issues.
His scenes felt out of place, and it’s harder to take everything else as seriously, because his reasoning is presented in such way.

Yeah.
Her behavior towards her own son isn't okay either.
From what I've seen in those two episodes, he doesn't seems to want thst factory at all (which is understandable, no matter how you look at it) and he seems overwhelmed with her protectiveness and the way she plans out everything for him, at times. She seems to be so hell bent on "fixing things" and having everything under control, she doesn't notice the negative effect of her behavior.
I think I understand why she is behaving like that. I don't think that she's a bad person, but that doesn't mean what she's doing right now is good.

both of the Jin Us are treated more like pieces of puzzle that the adults around them are trying to put together, each person in a different way, than actual teenagers… ( as of ep2) I hope the situation improves, and each character will grow

So far it's okay. But, it seems Yoo Jinwoo's singing voice isn't Ryeoun's voice šŸ¤” Anyone thinks so?I hoped…
I’m not sure. But maybe for this role they needed the character to be really good at singing, and Ryeoun just didn’t have enough training to do that here. I mean, he did well in TW but he’s not a professional singer.

When it comes to his career, yeah I agree that he’s a mess. And he’s blaming her for too long for what happened in the past. But when it comes to taking care of their son’s matters, after watching ep2 I feel like he’s the sane one. I don’t think that the FL is behaving like this on purpose, but she’s being a bad mother, worse than he’s being a father.

She doesn't NEED the factory. She thinks she should leave something "easy" that even her disabled son can handle...and…
Yeah that’s why I can’t like her rn. I know that she’s probably feeling guilty about the past, wants everything to be as perfect as it can be for her son and wants to provide a good future. But she became a controlling and kinda manipulative mother because of that. She’s hell bent on ā€œfixing thingsā€ but not everything is fixable, sometimes you have manage despite it and make something out of your new situation (she seems to get that when it comes to work but not her private life). I can totally understand her behavior and I don’t think she is a bad person, she just behaves ā€œbadlyā€ thinking she’s doing the right thing.
I get where she’s coming from but probably because I feel like I’d have made similar mistakes, I find it hard to excuse her behavior.
(Not to say that the husband is much better, but he seems more sane when it comes to their son’s situation, and family)

Okay, after ep2… Why do I feel kinda satisfied that Jun Seok just burst out in anger in front of her like that,…
And from the next episode’s preview I see that it is going to get even more intense.
Uh, the only thing that’s lifting up my mood right now is the Doyoung OST, it’s good.
