Did Ruan Sixian's father died after her mother got married for second time? Or She was a widow before meeting…
Her mom sends her money several times for years. Our FL doesn't touch that money. There is a scene where she tells her friends that she has a card loaded which she has never touched. Self reliant and an absolute resolute!

In the book her mother tries to call her but Ruan talks in monosyllables or doesn't answer.
It will be interesting to see how they resolve this arc in the drama.

Do you have the link?
I am certain this isn't the one from yesterday. I remember I have watched it last year. The background I remember although I don't exactly remember about the second leads behavior.
Yesterday's livestream was online and it was something like this. Only Miles's as a short video posted on one of the fan YT channel.

I am also waiting for a full video with subs.

On episode 9... not even Miles Wei can make this ML charming. I've enjoyed dramas where ML's literally try to…
Which episode are you in? The majority think that this is the quickest turnaround for a ML from a cold arrogant boss to an almost clingy half-boyfriend.
The misunderstanding doesn't last more than an episode and a half at the start. From the bts, there is going to be plenty of romance. This being a workplace romcom will have a balance I think

No you are not the only one! I'm enjoying it and pretty sure there are several who are liking it. The plot is coming together nicely and from what I've seen in the bts the romance is going to be 🔥

The ml's apology was pretty good
And he explains how carrying on with that hengshi training plan would have resulted in several lay offs and shattering several lives! Makes sense!

So all of a sudden he’s a nice person after their past? And he’s supporting her because he’s apologetic…
And I guess it's completely normal to fall for someone as gorgeous and capable as Ruan Sixian

So all of a sudden he’s a nice person after their past? And he’s supporting her because he’s apologetic…
I think this reviewer has explained well. I concur as I have seen the subtle change in expressions in Fu Mingyu after he realized he got it all wrong about her.

Copied from chengisan review above,

"Fu Mingyu's sudden shift from arrogant executive to someone captivated by Ruan Sixian isn't actually a sudden burst of love, but rather a complete shattering of his own ego and assumptions. While it might feel "too soon" on screen, his psychological shift is triggered by several key layers. Because his tongue was so "savage" during their initial meeting, his immediate instinct upon realizing the truth is to fix his mistake. Realizing he crushed a woman’s genuine career aspirations based on a petty misunderstanding delivers a massive blow to his ego, instantly turning his contempt into guilt. He didn't just get a detail wrong; he misjudged her entire character, drive, and capability. Another blow to someone who prides himself on logic, efficiency, and his ability to read people. Working
together in the extreme proximity of the aviation industry forces him to constantly watch her excellence. His sudden hyper-fixation on her is a mix of trying to right his past wrong, professional desperation, and a growing fascination with a woman who completely defies his expectations. Its a case of overcompensation as Defensiveness."

Hope it helps.

Thanks for explaining this! It was clear when I watched the episodes. But why some people aren't getting it I wonder...
Someone needs to spoonfeed them to connect the dots or infer it for them from the scenes and ? Whatever 🤣

Absolutely loving this series!!

Captain Fan was a male in the novel. By bringing in a female character as Captain Fan and adding that scene where the three female pilots come together for their new aircraft model launch that scene was a chefs kiss. Goosebumps!

Totally agree

This series is a visually stunning show with a thought provoking theme.

The major point here is that Xu Huaisong was playing all along from school times, knowing that she too had a crush on him, to get her attention and he did succeed. On the other hand Ruan Yu was admiring him ( the person he was putting up to be) from a distance totally unaware that he too liked her.
If only it was as easy as 'Hi, I know you from school times and had a crush on you and wrote a book about it. Let's try it out!"
Or "Hi, I came back because I realised you are in trouble because of our story. Nice to meet you. Let's go!"
How one deals with the "re-appearance" of a secret crush is going to be very different with no one size fits all option
One is still lingering on the crush but can't reveal and can't afford to get hurt. The other, hesitates to show himself, being always in the weaker position in the relationship.
This is one of those shows requiring patience and a calm mindset to appreciate its nuances.
It's also quite humorous .
Recommend.

Title You Are My Fateful Love Spoiler
Ok so the sweet fluffy dramas are out but hopefully he can still do some other type of romance dramas.
Copied from Miles Wei page.

Miles’ comment about Xu Huaisong being possible his last fluffy sweet rom role.

https://video.weibo.com/show?fid=1034:5282244437409888

DeepSeek translation:
Um, how to put it… I wouldn’t exactly say that (dislike sweet fluffy romcom). It’s more like (playing) a different type, a different kind of thing. It’s a kind of pressure. When you play the same type of role too many times, you start to feel like you’re running out of material. You lose that steady foundation, and you have to draw on everything you’ve got just to try to create something new—not playing it safe. That’s also why, in this drama, I took on another role of this type—a bit of a sweet romantic comedy type—Xu Huaisong, that character. Honestly, I think this should probably be my last drama in this genre. Probably.

For me, whether from the perspective of my career planning or in terms of my ability, I feel like this should be an endpoint, right? If I don’t have more life experience, or if I don’t keep growing, and as I get older, I think it’ll be harder for me to shape this kind of role—and to make you all like it. But Blossom Through The Cloud is a different dimension. It has a lot of workplace elements that people will see, and the direction and style will be more… urban. Yeah, it’s not going to be the super sweet romantic comedy type. So I think Xu Huaisong might be the last time you all see Wei Zheming like this.

As for Yan Ke and Bai Er Tizheng—those are yet another dimension. Same situation as what I just mentioned: after everyone saw Liu Chang and recognized that side of me, now there’s another role that seems like a villain. How do I present a different kind of villain in a different way? That, I think , is what’s really interesting as an actor. People might look at it and say, “Ah, the styling is so similar—how come the costume style in this drama looks like that other drama? The hairstyle is the same too.” Maybe that’s the superficial thing they notice. But when you’re actually watching the drama, who’s really paying attention to what hairstyle I have, what outfit I’m wearing today, what fabric it’s made of? Right? What people see is the whole person, and that whole represents the personality and traits of different characters. The genre might be the same, but each character is definitely different.

The extra scene right at the end of episode 7 😭😭💕💕💕🥰
Deep down, thats who Xu Huaisong is. Caring, affectionate and gentle!
Ruan Yu, don't be fooled by that act he is putting up! I can see you are noticing these little things ...
This is beautiful ❤️

Upto episode 6.
The concept is novel. Not because its a story about mutual unrequited love but because it is presented from two perspectives. Her novel and his drafts. Their interactions while doing the comparisons and each having their own version of the 'scene' in the flashback is so witty and beautiful. Feels refreshing! So far so good.

Ruan Yu's neighborhood and her apartment is so aesthetically designed and pleasing to the eyes. My dream 🏡 🤪
