I have been lurking around the ZLH and TXW couple fan page on weibo and please, totally take it with a grain of salt...fans suspect that they were in their early days of dating at the time. Shortly after the filming for POJ, ZLH had a very busy schedule and neglected TXW. So TXW considered ending things and didn't want to see him in person. So, he decided to see her at this event to smooth things over because she had to be there and couldn't avoid him then.

Putting it as a spoiler so people won't take this melon as truth.... because at the end of the days, who really knows except for these two.

Oooh, hm....then that's interesting because in the other variety shows I have seen of her so far, she really seems like an anti-romantic. 😅 Even the production team on Sherlock mentioned that. Lol

In any case, it sounds like you have confirmed my thinking in that she's still fluent enough in the language of romance but not mother tongue level yet if she still depends on who her partner is in order to perform better (and in your case, it sounds like Xu Kai is the man for the job).

Oh yes, usually! 😊 But, have you seen how she dresses at galas? XD There are videos that show that both ZLH and TXW outfits tend to match for gala somehow. I'm definitely not the first one to notice.

Ah....no wonder their outfits seem to match more often than not in a lot of the events.

I think they're just trying to be respectful at the dinner because apparently a lot of big shots were there. It would probably be improper to act too overly friendly and casual with each other at an event like this. Lol it's because it's a business dinner.

LOL yes, definitely her second language...fluent enough, but not quite like her mother tongue yet. XD I agree with you regarding her doesn't easily fall in love and prioritizes work. I feel she's very comfortable in her own skin and enjoys a single life with her lovely cat, Kang Kang.

Personally, I find this variety show is pretty good as the bond between the main cast is so natural and supportive. The NPCs are really good as well...often time, I wonder how they can keep a straight face.

The POJ director was definitely telling the truth about TXW being an anti-romantic. I just finished SHErlock season 2 recently and I recalled in one case it involves romantic relationship between NPCs and she just outright said "I don't get it." and had a bit of a blank stare while the other ladies seemed to feel for the relationship.😅 In the closing episode, the production gave each cast member feedback and comments and mentioned that she was excellent in everything except that she didn't seem to understand romantic relationship. It's her career blind spot.
Like in any job/career, there will always be areas that we can improve on, so I'm confident she will improve on this someday especially given her talent. 🤩

not just the main cast, the the NPCs were excellent too! There were some cases that got me crying, which was unexpected.

Personally, I created my account a long while back and didn't even comment on anything until recently when POJ truly got my attention and when Tian Xiwei captivated me with her acting. Lol I certainly have actors and actresses that I'm feeling meh on, but still understand that people like them even if I don't. I certainly wouldn't write hate comments or even spend time on those actors/actresses profile walls. XD That would be an absolute waste of my time.

It's super silly that some people would just create an account in order to write hate comments. Why not focus on actors and actresses that you like instead?
Also, it's arrogant to suggest you have better taste than the Tian Xiwei's fans here to like the actors and actresses that you prefer. Like why? I hope you're not one of those people who think of others in terms of "low vibration" vs. "high vibration" because that's a very arrogant, ignorant, and dangerous mindset.

Fans like Tian Xiwei for who she is and what she brings to the screen. People don't have to agree on taste, but if you're gonna post on her page, you'll bound to see a lot of people who like her. And people can write constructive and respectful criticisms...the key words here are constructive and respectful.

Honestly, it seems because of this drama, Tian Xiwei, who was acting as the FL, had been getting quite a bit of hate. I'm guessing it's because the ML is Zhang Linghe and some of his fans are super possessive lol

Ever since I became Tian Xiwei's fan recently, this is the drama that I'm looking forward to watching the most. 😬 Does anyone know when will this drama be released,?
