His fans and passerbys were expressing concern about his health and saying he needed rest. No mention of your girl at all, yet you still had to butt in and decide what’s best for him when you’re not even his fan.
Imagine invalidating his fans’ concern just so you can comfortably enjoy your jiejie’s new drama while someone might actually be struggling with his health.
He doesn’t need your girl or that drama. With where he is right now, he can pick up another S+ drama anytime, or simply choose to focus on his first dream..singing, which he had to sacrifice for 10 years..whatever he wants to do. Again, who are you to decide for him? The way you inserted your idol into a conversation about someone else’s health and concern just to push your agenda is exactly why people call your fandom insufferable.
Dismissing someone’s health concerns, normalizing a toxic work environment, and turning everything back to your girl just shows how little you care about someone else’s wellbeing. The fact that your fandom couldn’t even treat him like a human being from the start already says everything about what your fandom is like. And nothing you say now changes that..his fans have drawn the line, and you and your fandom have crossed it.

These CPF fans were even spamming LITC/ming yi stickers in his current filming drama and saying things like HMH looks better with LYX. His new drama partner’s fans ended up insulting HMH because they thought it was his fans. Real Kiwis wouldn’t do something that could harm HMH. It’s honestly so exhausting.

He didn’t want to touch her unnecessarily so he let her steady herself first. Of course, he was ready to step in if she was about to fall. He even kept his hand hovering behind her just in case. He was being professional and respectful during the behind the scenes but the director was making it weird.

HMH looked super uncomfortable. He treated Aimi like a little sister and even called her “little sister.” The director is such a weirdo for doing this just for marketing.

China has its own standards and regulations. If a drama passes those, that's all that really matters to the viewers. They're not concerned with international viewers' opinions. The domestic market has always been the priority because it is huge. If you actually want change, it would have to come from Chinese viewers themselves. International backlash and whether you watch it or not doesn't influence their decisions. This drama is also about a general's journey, his sacrifices for the people, as well as politics and power. Not everyone watches it for the romance.
The fire action scene had my jaw on the floor. It was executed so well and the fact that hmh performed the stunt with real fire himself?! Even more impressive. The plot is intriguing too. I can’t wait to see how the story unfolds because everyone is sus as hell. 10/10 so far!
Why spend so much energy on something you don't even like? You're posting multiple comments over and over again. You're only making your own life more difficult. Just move on. Not watching it is your choice, but giving it one star just to dismiss all the hard work the actors and crew put into it, as if they had any say in who they were cast with makes no sense.

This story is also about the journey of a general and his struggles to protect his people. Not everyone is watching it for the romance. I genuinely don’t understand why people are spending so much energy staying here just to hate when they could simply move on and continue with their own lives.

That's a general for you. Don't expect the pretty makeup you see in xianxia dramas. After POJ faced backlash for giving its characters overly heavy makeup that didn't fit like someone fighting on the battlefield, China's National Radio and Television Administration (NRTA) introduced stricter guidelines restricting heavy or overly glamorous makeup when it doesn't suit the story or setting. A battle-hardened general is supposed to look weathered, not flawless.
Probability is very low. IQIYI dramas aren't available on Netflix. It might come out on Viki later on.
