In episode two when they are 🌶️ scene, Yichen asks what are you doing and Lu Feng responds “I want to hug you”. Is hug the correct word for what he says or is this a mistranslation?

The first half of the episode was too weak for a pilot. Not convinced about the acting and general script. lol that coffee cup staying at that table for weeks and still leaking pheromones??? The last few minutes have me hooked to find out what happens next. Waiting to see how it goes
Do you not understand nuance in a character? You have to be in her shoes to understand why she is doing what she is doing. She is horrified of the consequences her only son would face
I just rewatched episode 11 and I need to know, is there any relevance to the story as to why Yichen said the brothers name while he was sleeping (right after the 🌶️). It’s seems odd that he would do that. We know the brother is not in any form of danger or is this something from the novel?
