the writer said she wanted to make the movie about ordinary people, no one w “special powers.” But yes in the Alina scene, Kaoru is falling before she calls him stupid, and Minami also trips on her way out…..the writers used that for Akina to notice her and give her the chance to say the monumental “Kauru is not stupid.” And in the hospital, Karuo’s sidekick used his clumsiness as a reason why he fell down the stairs.
