A purse is perhaps easy to replicate and look real (but you really don’t see Bvlgari purses on black market, mainly Chanel and Hermès). Chanel fabric would be v difficult and pricey to replicate, and that same magenta jacket in the opening scene was in a collection from a couple years back. The Bvlgari necklace looks genuine. The pieces were probably loaned from Chanel and Bvlgari. But it’s also a pretty well done drama with top actors. The Luxe houses were probably happy to loan the pieces? Good PR for them. Asians especially love both brands.
Ep 6 best one yet. Camera work and angles amazing and arty. A pleasure to watch. (I remember the gym scene earlier in series w the guy hanging down, that was also cute.)
Loved the doc ex wife and ML texting scenes, looking into or down at the phone. Loved the salt-throwing scene also, and the revolving camera filming the Volvo driving shore side from vacay home. The director somehow makes a row of cars look arty, w another side angle of distressed FL. FL has great facial expressions (esp salt-throwing scene). And whoever chose the music is brilliant. It only adds to the scenes and perfectly done.
Scenes seemed shorter and editing jumpier in ep 6 which I liked. The three leads are a pleasure to watch and I also kind of love how sleazy Mr. Doc Ex-husband is. He plays it v well. Waiting to see if someone lensed them in the car together. And ML is such a perfect doofus. "let's talk on Gogo Used Market later."
The whole cast should really be proud of playing a part in this drama. Even the teens are doing a good job. I'm going to re-watch the episode now.

Yes she was scraping the bottom of the barrel when she got all excited about this random guy who was skipping the loving part of the wedding, and smoking a cigarette no less. And then he ghosted her for a long time, little preview of what was to come. "I was on a biz trip"---so he was where, on the North Pole w no wifi?? Hardly an excuse. She must have been desperate. She's obvi so much happier w the widower. But slight red flag w him....the wife was getting all frisky w him and he basically blew her off like "let's wait til our usual time on Sat. 2PM" I wonder if they'll make reference to that, ever.

Me too! Watching this and The Affair was Only the Beginning, also terrific! I just wish they weren't both parsed out so slowly, it takes away momentum.
I'm a little slow but I'm rewatching it and I just caught the ML's star friend who acted in the drama "Mackerel Game"---Squid Game joke I finally realized. Too funny! Now I'm wondering what else I missed.
