Someone said he would only be nominated for supporting actor, unfair haha. Yes i'm in awe of his acting. And if you watch his video Induction (someone kindly posted the link, below), you'll see how his facial expressions hit it out of the park, I almost watched his face more than body when he danced. Many pro dancers can't do the facial expressions to match the body, Raul mastered that. He is incredible.

Agree. I started to watch it a while back, was kind of slow but maybe that was on purpose, I'll take another look now I know who did it, based on a French film same name as I recall? What I loved right off the bat about Ai No Gakkou was how it caught our attn immediately w the scene of her jumping into the water. I love films that start out like the director has a firm hand on the story and won't take forever to tell it. And every time they used that scene in later eps, it was also terrific, especially the one where she's in front of the class telling them st like how fun/rewarding her job in publishing was and they cut to her jumping off the pier. In the interview, the director or writer said they rehearsed it once and then did for real and they commented on her athleticism w her legs bent up like that. She did a great job!

Exactly like me, I do my chores, work, my exercise, walk the dog, clean, whatever, and LTL is my reward. I actually skipped a weekend workshop I was supposed to attend bc too many of my fave episodes were out Sat and Sunday lol. (Back before I decided to concentrate on LTL)

OK i watched about 5 minutes and it looks like what I saw on other subs. I personally could not wait two weeks for NF. But that’s me, I also watch w no subtitles, then Spanish subs, then English, THEN NF lol. So I do watch obsessively I guess haha.

I have been watching on KISSkh and I thought the subtitles were fine but I never really compared scene by scene w NF (whose subs are nothing to shout home about tbh)

Same. I feel better knowing I'm not alone. I have re-watched the later episodes several times each but soon I'm going to watch from the beginning and see what I've missed. I've started several other dramas, some of them things rec here on MDL. I last a little bit and then I'm like, until LTL is over I just cannot watch anything else, they all just pale by comparison. Especially Bon Appétit. The male lead is kind of hot so I was kind of enjoying it but then it starts with the filler and the soundtrack was pretty mediocre and like monstersnroses said, it's just typical crowd-pleasing whatever. After Raul....I mean who can compete.....he's just beyond.

Good question. Do you think maybe someone in the host industry, knowing of the new laws being passed, asked for it? Bc sounds like there are other perhaps less flattering dramas about the host industry (someone mentioned Callboy)...
