I'm actually loving Kawahara in later scenes. It's obvious he admires Raoul. He's actually funny now. Can't wait to see 9. Is Kawahara possibly wanting to back out bc the potential FIL is beyond nuts and about to have zero status?

I did find Spiral on Apple music, it's the song they play as an uplifting one. waltz beat.. Yugo Kanno IS on spotify, I downloaded the app, but couldnt find the OST songs. He has a lotttttt of music. MaybE they'll add the OST later?

Raul is incredible in this. I think the FL is obvi a great actress but he steals the show tbh, he's such an amazing physical presence and there's nothing he cannot do. And that's quite an accomplishment considering how incredible the rest of the cast is.

I just watched 8 for like the third or 4th time, honestly, the rating on LTL should really be a 10.

I’m doing that also. Every time I watch I concentrate on a different cast member. Whoever cast LTL was also amazing. I love Kaohru’s sidekick. Especially in episode 7-8. If the two leads end up together I think he’ll be part of the package haha. And the president of the club. He’s fun to watch. So abrupt. Episode 8’s climax at the end was v good w the concurrent music swelling w club scenes. Raul’s background in snowman really shows, he’s so good at the mic. People have mentioned how great the pacing is. I’m wondering if the last two episodes can possibly keep up haha. The previous ones so good. I really hope they do spin offs later.

I might have this wrong bc I watched in Spanish, but he thinks Momoko is coming on to him, using interviews as an excuse (I kind of agree—maybe not consciously but I do think she’s attracted to him). Momoko thinks he should apologize to women like Akina. He thinks she’s being arrogant & shady, and he doesn’t like women like her who pretend they’re not interested when in reality they are. He gets rough w her and claims she wants to sleep w him.

Is he ML dad? Or was the person he killed ML dad?

One other thing…we begin the drama w the writers showing us that Minami falls deep and she falls hard. (Throwing herself into the ocean!) That also explains how perhaps it may have seemed sudden for her to like Taiga. She’s not a novice to love. And as someone else pointed out, he’s different from anyone she’s known, he values what she brings, and she values his appreciation, something she rarely feels in her life from anyone (as someone pointed out). What women has he ever been exposed to? His mother and the gussied up ladies who frequent clubs. Here’s a quiet, somberly dressed woman who doesn’t need to be entertained, and who wants to help him. Their strengths and weaknesses are complementary.

I think she was immediately attracted to him (who wouldn’t be). And then every meeting they had thereafter was pretty positive, and she started realizing that he wasn’t what “everyone” said he was . And she understood why he ordered the expensive champagne. And then despite fighting it off they couldn’t deny their feelings. It happens in life sometimes. And it totally made sense to me. It’s been a gradual, step by step growth of those feelings with a few hiccups. The writers haven’t missed a trick. I’m in awe.
