Okay another note on the “Satan creating an illusion for Bitna” theory. Satan told Kim Taegyu that his main power is using a human’s desires to lure them. Later on, in the fight against Bitna, after he gives her the wedding fantasy, he makes a special note that Bitna has “become a human” and seems amused by this. Obviously, since that would make her more vulnerable to his particular power, that would be the way to defeat her, no? So Satan choosing instead to try to fight her solely in hand to hand combat just wouldn’t make sense. Clearly he’s messing with her
(Also, on a lesser note, they usually thank the special guest actor in the end credits of the last episode they appear in. They didn’t do that this episode so…)

Agree with everything here! Especially the Bael thing—him suddenly showing up in her office without ceremony nor his spidery legs PLUS his demand and the word choice used seems very out of character.
Also yeah why would he leave the room AND try to fight her while holding the kylum in his hand? Seems like an unnecessary handicap…almost like he WANTED her to take it from him
The writer LOVES to use the fake out death trope so I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the direction this goes
Yeah I’m also on the “Bitna defeating Satan was actually an illusion” train. Or at the very least he’s definitely coming back.
1. Like others said, Satan saying the “wander in your nightmares” line and then immediately cutting outside the chamber? There HAS to be a reason that happened.
2. Also his main goal is to place the kylum in his new body…so why would he teleport them AWAY from the body WITH the kylum in hand thus making him more vulnerable??
3. Satan’s whole thing is using a person’s desires to lure / manipulate them…so what would be the point of him learning about Bitna’s love for Han Doan if he’s not going to end up using it against her in some major way?
4. On that note—the idea that Satan and Doan would NEVER interact in this drama seems very odd to me!
5. Lastly, Justitia’s knife stabbing the kylum is literally the last shot of the opening title sequence. Clearly it’s important! So it being tossed away into hell never to be seen again? Yeahhhh I’m not buying it.
Maybeee I’m overthinking it but idk this show loves a good fakeout death. And having the big bad be defeated so easily just doesn’t seem to fit right

Omg THANK YOU these are my thoughts exactly. I don’t know why people feel they have to explicitly side with one character over the other, when the show has made it clear that both sides hold merit.
(Also I think people are forgetting that
A. No one has actually told Daon what Justitia’s mission on earth is at this point.
B. Daon and the victims are not actually aware of or present for Justitia’s hell trials. So while we the audience get to witness the revenge firsthand, the others don’t necessarily get that same satisfaction. They never really got the chance to see the perpetrators repent and suffer for what they did)
Surprised by the number of comments annoyed with Daon for trying to stop / catch Bit Na? Personally I think it makes for a much more fun and interesting dynamic than if he were to just let her go without conflict. (Also he’s a detective, like…it’s kind of his job lol) 🤷♀️
I think people are assuming that the drama is going to head in the direction of making Bit Na’s lose her edge and submit to Daon’s version of “justice,” when so far the drama has showed that both viewpoints hold merit. Some victims are happy with Justitia’s actions while others are disappointed. It’s not so black and white.
