wow the pacing of this drama is really...slow...and im still so confused as to why he is acting sooo affected…
It affected him deeply because after the accident, the girl he was supposed to meet didn’t even bother to visit him. During the months of recovery, she lived rent free in his head. The accident replayed itself over and over in his mind for years to the point that she became almost a familiar presence to him. Totally understand why he’s the way he is.
Her obsession with her father is weird. I though she would fight for her son. But instead she's like whatever,…
She’s a grown adult. She can’t just barge in and demand her son back, especially after you saw that she already consulted with a lawyer. She admitted that it was partly her fault and that her mental and emotional state wasn’t stable at the time. She lost her father, then received the news about her newborn and missed her chance to connect. What are the chances of Le choosing her over the family he’s known? He’s safe for now, so she needs to find closure with her father first. He went through a traumatic experience too. It felt a bit draggy, but she explained it well at the end of Episode 18.
The acting is top notch too. Must watch with the right translations in order to fully understood everything.
