I see what you are saying, I felt for both of them during this episode because they are both clearly hurting.…
The minute her male roommate picked up her phone, i thought it was over. Let alone comforting her that very night or even the next day. That phone call really set the tone for the next business day. I don’t even think he was as harsh with her as people made him seem in the novel version. Again, he himself said that she wanted him to treat her fairly, just like everyone else. We’re going to get to see both of their characters develop, and soon he’ll show her what actual love is. They’re both still learning and growing through this process.
I get what you are saying though! I’m just dissecting all scenarios.
How do people expect Luke to act after he says it’s Friday (their day) only to find out she’s camping all weekend without telling him in advance? From Luke’s perspective, he’s the only boyfriend she has, so those flowers are his gesture to her, his way of cheering her up and showing that he cares. Again, he treated her fairly with the work error situation. He even apologized to the client.
He couldn’t possibly have expected the flowers to arrive at the same time his friend showed up. People assumed him and the friend might be a couple. And if Flora keeps jumping to conclusions and making assumptions, how is she any better than the ex?
And honestly, if everything went exactly the way everyone wanted it to, we wouldn’t have 24 episodes to watch. 😂
I’m assuming how we feel is all going to depend on the outcome of the episode. 😂 A few days ago, we were on cloud nine with all the lovey-dovey smiles. Tonight, we’re in full on high stress mod. The writer knows exactly how to take us on an emotional roller coaster!
That umbrella tossing scene was so epic that I looked forward to him throwing something else lolol
