Am i the only one who is finding absolutely precious that instead of the most common plot progression of: they meet/they clash/they come to understand one another/they finally have happy stretch/then more troubles & happy ever after .... we are getting such a lengthy and joyful slow burn/real life romance and family bliss depiction at the very beginning? i know the hard times are coming but it feels like my acorn store of happyness is full enough that i can withstand the harshest misunderstanding/distrust/momentary distancing plot...ah..end my eyes are so full of candy that i could watch the odd (luckily not so gory) slaughter or two ....

can you help me understand your comment on the director's previous works? I have watched and loved Blossom..but who or what is Zhu Yu? is that a title of another drama?? thanks

I have loved Unveil: Jadewind, i think the 'female centered' plot in it is really well done and the actors are great together..so i would definitely spur you to finish it and then come to Pursuing Jade in your own time...avoid spoilers and catch up with us poor souls who are counting the hours and minutes until the next episode is dropped! eh eh eh

yeah..i watched ep 9 twice..but not for the fighting scenes..eh eh eh...

I would love to know your favourite C dramas if you rate this average and only think it deserves attention from ep 7...i was captivated from the credits! and i don't remember a single chinese drama i have NOT skipped forward before...i can just be grateful to live in such a time when i can enjoy honest dialogues, straightforward leads, realistically sweet chemistry and unabashedly indipendent heroines...

the break up happens suddenly and only later we get an idea why...within two ep if i remember right they meet again and awkwardly start their relationship ....it does not take long but it feels too rushed and not substantiated enought to really pull at your heart strings...gut it's a happy ending in the end so i did not mind too much...

I just want to freeze frame every smile and every loving gaze of this amazine couple! their every day chemistry is off the roof... but i also want to slow mo every action of this amazing female butcher and her no nonsense way of dealing with bullies and bad neighbours! what a masterpiece!

Xie Bin Bin completely stole my breath away in this otherwise light and predictable drama...heartwarming and pleasant enough but hardly ground breaking...the question is...with such a dashing presence on camera how he not landing more main lead roles? i looked in his filmography and he has done way too many support roles...this reminds me of the profesional ark of Byeon Woo Seok who was denied so many opportunities...just to explode like a supernova in Lovely Runner ...and not stopping any more....well, i want to se XBB explode in the same way...so that we can continue relishing in that smile and those dimple forever!!!

Small love triangles at the beginning of their love and later after they break up..but nothing really seriuos as the ML is constantly and very clearly in love with FL who suffers ( a little unexplicably if you ask me) from the distance and difficulty of hearing one another and decides to break up...this part feels very rushed and sudden...did not really care too much about it...but this is a light romance at best so you cannot really fault it too much...happy ending anyway so it was not wasted time for me!

Why is there no Romance tag to this drama? I found the romantic growth of the leads slow and beautiful...very satisfactory!

Just started this and i am already a fan! the quality of acting, fighting and verbal sparring is quite commendable...plus the visuals of all actors and props...truly i am having big expectations...

Actually on episode 21 there is a beautifully tense moment between the two, when she leans her head on his chest to find a moment of peace...ok not a kiss but i found it increadibly intimate and really well done.
