i completely agree! i came late to this little gem but it is worth so much more of our love!!

i did not get in what life they consumed their marriage so as to make a daughter...the episodes past mid point were too frustrating and kept skipping ahead...help me understand please!

On ep 18 and seriously addicted to this show....costume Cdramas really changing the game for me this last year...having said that...am i the only one who gets super distracted by the constant fluttering of the strands of hair on both ML and FL faces? how are the actors not coming down with a cold with the constant draft blown on their faces?? am i the only to have a problem with it??

I agree wholeheartedly! in the middle of epic battles of wits & swords, as they face vicious enemies and bad mouthing tormentors when they look at each other they make the very air around them so still...super cudos to the writers for the loving lines and the actors for their amazing chemistry and the true to life little facial expressions and actions...i was giggling like an idiot at the look of surprise on XJ when YE just reached out to touch her lips to his...(a true female general taking a bold lead!) and it was soooo satisfying when he replied with a full kiss just seconds behind her! ...you know what we want and need and are giving it to us with no apologies. Please keep it up!

ugh...i guess not all manwha work as live actions after all...i stayed to the end for the sake of Ok tae yeon who is really owed a better script in the future than the ones he has landed recently (does anyone remember Heartbeat...ahia!)...but the story became quickly messy and boring at the same time as the FL lost all facial muscles (i swear she has only two expressions...and one is displayed when she is passed out...) ...Probably impossible to solve the political intrigue in a handful of episodes as well..i guess we are spoiled by the many historical dramas of quality and this was just meant to be a filler for heavier players...

I never enjoyed costume Cdrama and since this has been a game changer for me i will try and say what lured & kept me in...Female lead emotional & practical intelligence is beautifully showcased in all of her 'intrusions' in the male world of political intrigue & war...if you are only on ep 9 you have not seen this in full force yet. Male lead soft side becomes more and more endearing as he opens up to this amazing woman he has in his life..and it is not her girly achievements to turn his head but her honesty, her love for the people, her openess in the allegiance and her willingness to make the relationship work... the side characters, like the friendship of the four generals, is endearing and believable...If the pace gets too slow you know what to do (ffwd is an amazing tool!!)...i stuck with it to the end and now I am at loss on what to watch next...i fear not many other Cdramas will be this good...eh ehe eh...

...honest, real romance mixed with anything else is my drug for sure...and I wanted to catch up on already aired shows to wittle away the hours before the next episodes of POB id dropped...but the future shows you mention are also good suggestions, thanks

So...this is a game changer drama for me...i never watched period Cdrama before...now that I am hooked which one should i ABSOLUTELY go and check out first?? no dudds please guys or i will go back to not liking historical Cdramas again...
