Okay, my opinion slightly detered after watching the ending. It was genuinely terrible. We didn't see any lovey dovey moments. It had so much potential even for the last 5 episodes. We could've had a perfect ending and it would've changed the opinion of so many people about this drama. I fear that this ending has made the opinions of people worser. This drama had so much potential but it got ruined in the end. I was genuinely enjoying it and they wasted the potential of so many other actors as well. The side actors acted so well only for the director to ruin it all. I really hope the actors would choose better scripts. I really thought this drama was a fresh drama considering all the previous drama consistent of one storyline such as resurrection or sibling troop. So this really was a fresher drama but only if they hadn't made the ending so confusing and weird. Half of us don't even understand whether it's a OE or SE
At this point, I'm no longer "waiting" for the next episode. I watch it when I have time and do other…
Honestly, it isn't that bad as everyone is making it to be. It's pretty decent compared to some cdramas I have had to drop and personally, I nowadays am into dramatics so this actually hits the spot 😠I was tired of resurrection, sibling troops. Most of the cdramas have been following the same storyline for a long while. I am enjoying this a lot 🥹 It's a pretty new drama in my opinion. (Before you come at me, I am not a hard core Zhang Linghe fan. Only started liking him after pursuit of jade and he definitely isn't like those handsome actors with zero talent. He actually has the talent so my perception of him changed alot after watching some of his dramas like poj and the best thing)
Okay, so I am on the 16 episode. I dropped it on episode 1 but picked it up and this is a really fresh drama because I was getting sick of the sibling genre and honestly speaking, this is so good. I personally love dramatic dramas because sometimes they really do hit the spot. Since the inspo for this drama was a vertical short drama, I really do like it. It's very different from other cdramas one may occasionally watch. The rating is a exaggerated, it totally deserves a solid 8 or 7.5 at least. Many people are really exaggerating it's contents.. the problem of trafficking is a real problem and this drama has highlighted it very well. Yeah the love story is full of misunderstandings and whatnot but honestly after seeing so many dramas where everything is resolved isn't feeling right. So I personally love it. Murong Qingyi isn't even trying to understand her and Ren Susu is after revenge. It's pretty understandable and many be blaming the FL but the FL gave the ML many chances to back off but he kept getting involved. FL never had the time to explain her story to him and after everything she has been through, I can understand why she's doing what she's doing and same with the ML. Both are the same kind of people with trust issues. Qingyi isn't able to fully trust her and blames her for every short-coming and the FL is always conscious and she's a leader of the gang, she cannot let her girls down either so I completely understand why she's not telling Qingyi of her circumstances. This is fight that both of them cannot fight together. I genuinely hope we'll get some lovey dovey moments and it'll be a happy ending. But overall, it isn't as bad as people of MDL are making it to be. It's definitely very fresh and very new in the cdrama world.
Mango Tv is the slowest while airing a drama. They really drag it. IQiYi is the fastest. complete opposite
Not to mention, they have better production and editing as well as subtitles 😠I only watch mango TV for the actors and storyline. The rest needs A LOT of improvement. Mango TV dramas have alot of potential but the editing ruins it completely as well as the subtitles
Never-ending summer disappointmented me during the break up part. I really wanted to see more angst and him giving…
Im talking about is that they SHOULD give us context. It takes one episode to clear what happened in the past especially in those 6 years so that its clear to the audience and so a connection would be developed between the past and how it has contributed to the future. I have NOT read the novel and I, as someone who has not read the novel want context. How did Zhao Feng guy die? What happened in country jin? Why did that fire occur? What really happened that cause ML to send away FL? How did the policeman's fiance passed away? How did the ML and FL survive? These are basic questions everyone is curious about in the comment section and its been 21 episodes and we still don't have context about what happened.
Icl this is not what I expected. They’re dragging the Haoyun storyline and frankly, I don’t care. Never ending…
Never-ending summer disappointmented me during the break up part. I really wanted to see more angst and him giving her the cold shoulder. A bunch of cuts and unedited scenes made it so hard to watch. After the 20th episode, the show had alot of messy cut offs and I really wanted to see more of their adult life and how they spent those 10 years. And Mango TV is doing the same with love for you. They are dragging an arc that doesn't even matter to the audience. We want to know the background and what happened in those 6 years and the random flashbacks aren't helping. Mango TV has such good storylines and dramas but the editing ruins it completely. Their production and storytelling is very bad.
And Mango TV is doing the same thing with LFY as they did in never-ending summer. What happened in those 6 years? How did they survive? What did Chen Yi and Miao Jing go through? I feel like now we should have some flashback episodes of what really happened. We keep seeing them having flashbacks but how can we as an audience understand when we have no context about what happened? And the present era is in which year? They aren't utilizing the 32 episodes properly.
Well overdo will be released by the end of july ..you must watch this drama ...itss soo goood
They are releasing all the nice dramas now and by the end of the year, we won't be getting any good dramas 😠Even last year, after love in the clouds, there wasn't any good drama release. It makes sense why they are releasing them now as by the end of the year there are award shows but I do wished they released the nice dramas in the second half of 2026
It is a matter of taste. It is a teen's tough life, abuse ,and poverty, progressing to tortured love, with a background…
They difficulties they were going through, especially the poverty phase. It made me very grateful that there are people in the world who are suffering like this while I am living such an easy life and the drama is really an eye opener. I like dramas with realisations like this
I haven't been this excited to watch a cdrama in years! (Twelve Letters, not withstanding since that only had…
I watched a few episodes and I like itt. It's been a while since I binge watched a cdrama or I just watch an episode daily. And then it's Song Weilong and Zhang jingyi so I felt the need to watch.
Guys im a bit skeptical, the blossom of power drama also released and love for you has also released and overdo and key to phoenix heart are about to be released. Should I watch love for you? Is it worth it?
It's only 2 episodes sad like that breakup arc which is present in every cdrama. Its like the love between lines…
Yeah but towards the end, you might feel some sympathy with her. But I agree, she triggered me badly too but do continue the drama because it gets even betterrr
I agree. I just finished watching the last episode and honestly, both eras were perfect. I enjoyed both eras but…
Exactly 💯 everyone blames the fl but she suffered even more due to poverty and for 10 years to have passed they reconciled pretty quickly which made it unrealistic. They barely communicated their 10 years without each other like its such a long long period but there was no communication. Fls trauma was completely neglected in the second half when i really wanted to listen to her struggles and how she has survived over the course of 10 years. Other than that the drama was perfect and i enjoyed every second of it especially the teenage arc and them running away was the cutest part
I just finished it and obviously I loved it with all my hearttt but is it just me or do y'all also think that…
I 💯 agree. Everyone knows China's censorship system but still they chose to reconcile through intimate scenes when they know censorship system will just censor it anyway so they could've just given us a proper scene of them reconciling instead of intimate ones and maybe a proper wedding. The 2026 era felt rushed like how come they both broke each others hearts so badly and the hate didn't even last a episode? We didn't even get to see how they reconciled because of cuts and scenes that weren't properly edited. Even jiang fans rls situation made more sense but I still enjoyed the drama. The teen era was very cute especially the running away era.
Grandpa, I need you to stfu right now. Lu Xixiao is a grown a** man. He can date whoever he wants to date and…
I agree. I just finished watching the last episode and honestly, both eras were perfect. I enjoyed both eras but the only thing I didn't understand was the reconciliation episode. So many cuts that I didn't understand how they reconciled. I wish we could've had a proper reconciliation scene instead of intimate ones that got censored and everyone knows China's censorship system so they should've adjusted scenes accordingly instead of imperfect cuts
