I don't know why the ratings are low. It is definitely low budget and maybe a bit lacking in story development yet I find it very appealing and couldn't wait for a new episode to drop. I really liked how devoted and gentle Teng Mo was. The conversations during the time in the hospital were incredibly endearing and deep. I watch a lot of various dramas and I found Blue Lips to be very good.

Yeah for me the logical side is what made this drama not as high for me. It has all the pieces but I feel like things didn't need to be drawn out for so long. Isn't there records she could have checked to see if he was still living. They could have basically kept the core story but had her find out sooner. That part made no sense to me. It made me irritated as most people will know basic ways to search for people. And how the police didn't know or help. The gaps in logic made the story harder to relate to. Like she was in the nursing home and left and no one really cared. Just a weird scenario where no characters used logic to search or connect the dots from the workers to friends and everyone. Just like they were chickens with their head cut off.

Yeah it's an interesting choice considering it's 50 episodes they barely showed them holding hands and now he suspects he has a son. Not to mention they did the "time jump" in the 4th episode when he was a construction worker. This is the first time I am watching this type of "weekend drama" with the 50 episodes and it's fascinating they have MORE time to expand but seem to do less.

This is the 2nd Korean movie that I watched in between other long form dramas randomly choosing them from suggested ones on my streaming services and WOW 😳 I am speechless and stunned. I wouldn't say this is a romantic comedy at all even though he is quirky and goofy. The only issue is it felt a bit rushed and I felt like they honestly didn't need the filler stuff with his friends or girlfriend. My eyes are wet but I feel the power of love very heavy on my heart after this movie.

When he accepted the director award in the very first episode he had like 3 inch heels on. I was like hmm must be short.

Came here because I instantly recognized him! He definitely commands notice in his acting. Glad to see him in another role, hope he gets more and more

Yeah it's filled with cliches. It's trying too hard. I also don't really see the chemistry with the leads at all. To me if you want to show me a romance then show me a.loving first love story, college love or a mature adult story. I can handle teen stories if done right. For instance "when I fly towards you" is my all time favorite. It was crazy slow burn but you could tell the leads had chemistry even when they didn't have any physical stuff. Honestly I never like this ML in romances. He is not comfortable with showing deeper emotions. He may say the words "I love you" but I never quite believe it. I like the 2nd ml more mainly because I feel their emotions.

yeah personally I wish they had just done a quick recap of their high school years and then focused more on the adult. I kept thinking last night as I was catching up "I sure wish they would get to the adult storyline.

I can be pretty judgy with BL kisses because I'm always questioning the he actors ability to play it. However if we are being honest there are some pretty crappy kisses in regular dramas with straight couples so we really shouldn't be this harsh about it.

Yeah this is how I watch Japanese BL. I know they always seem a bit over the top in their comedy. It's not "intelligent" comedy, but it always fits and has its own charm. If I watched based upon western view of dramatic viewing I would be disappointed. I have watched everything from Cdrama to Kdrama to BL in various forms and I just put j-bl (and even thai bl) in its own and I just LOVE It.

Yeah if you can tell it's dubbed then it's not good. Honestly I was new to Cdrama when I watched POJ so I didn't know about running but it never seemed glaringly obvious otherwise I would not be watching Cdrama still. Bad dubbing is just a turn off!

he has been dubbed several times but i think they use a similar voice actor, although i absolutely loved his voice in POJ.

fake fact lips was AMAZING!! My only complaint is it was TOO SHORT... i loved their relationship.

YESSSS so far haven't seen wishing upon the shooting stars or The prosecutor's proposal but its' on my list. The rest are so fire!
